Biography

Kamesh Peri comes with 14 years’ experience in Automotive R&D and has worked for MNCs like Visteon, KPIT, Hyundai Mobis and ZF. Coming from an engineering background, he helped develop products that made several billion dollars in top line for the companies he worked for.

An engineer at heart, he has moved up the ladder to roles like Architect, Project Manager, and Line Manager. Presently, he is leading a team of 160 engineers working on development of autonomous driving features for ZF customers around the world.

His areas of expertise include developing technical/product road map, building high-performing teams from ground up, foot print planning, product cost optimisation via R&D, innovation management, and process management. 

Why did you choose PGPMAX programme?

I am a functional leader in R&D and am at a juncture where my role is moving towards general management. This necessitated me to have sound functional knowledge of non-R&D functions like finance, logistics, programme management, HR, sales and marketing. The diversity of PGPMAX cohort and its world class faculty makes it an apt platform to hone my general management skills, especially in view of the challenges the world is facing.
