The PGP MFAB deploys a multi-dimensional selection process designed specifically for family enterprise leaders. Unlike general business programme admissions, our approach evaluates both individual leadership capabilities and family business context, deliberately creating a diverse cohort spanning industries, generations, and family enterprise maturity stages. Each cohort forms a robust network of next-generation leaders navigating the unique complexities at the intersection of family dynamics and business strategy, extending well beyond programme completion.
PGP MFAB candidates must demonstrate a genuine commitment to advancing their family enterprise legacy. A candidate must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification and be an active family business member committed to advancing their enterprise. While no mandatory work experience is necessary, 2-4 years of business exposure enhances programme outcomes. Our selective process prioritises applicants demonstrating genuine passion for creating impact while balancing tradition with innovation.
Applications are open for the PGP MFAB Class of 2027. We operate a staggered admission process with two deadlines for each intake. While competition is the same across all rounds, the earlier you gain admission, the more time you will have to secure financing and arrange related logistics. Applicants in earlier rounds also get preference in the allotment of scholarships. The online application for each round opens approximately two months before the application deadline for that round. PGP MFAB is a pioneering course in family business management. The quality of faculty, programme design, curriculum, teaching methodology, international affiliations, and the opportunity to interact with an extensive ISB Network is a worthwhile commitment to lifelong business success.
No. PGP MFAB is a part-time, classroom-based programme where in-person sessions are held for a week every four to six weeks. Participants are required to be present at one of two ISB campuses (Hyderabad & Mohali) as per the course schedule.
All classes for the programme are held in the ISB campus at Hyderabad and/or Mohali. The international module is conducted at the specified location outside India.
No. While the ISB programme draws inspiration from Kellogg and Wharton courses, this is an exclusive ISB programme. Graduates will receive an ISB certificate. There is no joint certification issued with any other institution.
