Biography

Ekansh Chitlangia graduated in mechanical engineering from Delhi Technological University and works as an Executive Manager at his family firm - Aum Dacro Coatings. Founded by his father in 2005, Aum Darco Coatings is the leading Zinc Flake Coatings service provider in India. The company has two plants in Gurgaon, Haryana and one plant in Chennai with an installed capacity of 750 metric tonnes per month.

Their process is approved by almost all the major Automobile, Wind Mill, and railway companies such as Maruti Suzuki. Honda, Toyota, Ford, Hyundai, Chrysler, BMW, GM, Daimler, Volvo, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Gamesa Wind Mill, Inox Windmill, BEML Railway coaches, etc. The company has also won Gold Award from the Quality Circle Forum of India.

Why did you choose PGPMFAB programme?

I come from an engineering background and joined my family business immediately after graduation. It has been more than four years of working and I felt the need to pursue a management education. Without an MBA program, it sometimes feels challenging to grow my family business. Being completely involved in my business, it becomes difficult to leave the business to pursue further education.
