Biography

Sudarshan Raghunandan Lahoti works at his family firm Ambrish Auto and is currently under training CEO. They are the dealers of Bajaj Motorcycles in the entire district of Jalna in Maharashtra, operating about 25 branches and sub-dealers across the district.

The family business also has its interest in the affordable housing sector, building houses in the range of 8-15 lakhs (per unit) for the lower middle-class strata of the society. Despite being affordable, the houses are beautiful with best of the specifications and full of amenities.

Sudarshan comes from a drought-prone area with a high farmer suicide rate. Their NGO Arunima Foundation aims to turn around the villages with holistic village development initiatives including water conservation. The family donates one hour of time & talent every day and one day's earning in every month for the cause.

Why did you choose PGPMFAB programme?

The programme structure and curriculum attracted me the most. Being involved in the business full-time, it is not possible to do a full-time MBA. All the students at PGP MFAB come from the family business backgrounds, contributing highly towards peer-to-peer learning and association. Last but not the least, I was drawn to study at ISB, which is a highly reputed B-School in India.
