Biography

Akshey Walia is working within the CEO’s Office of Magicbricks a subsidiary of Time Group (BCCL) and is involved in Corporate Strategy & Program Management of Horizon 2 & 3 projects (non-core, innovative projects). He has over 12 years of work experience of which the last 5 years he has been part of Magicbricks, and has also worked with companies like BPTP Ltd., Newbridge Business Centers, Radisson Hotels, etc.

Why did you choose PGPpro programme?

Since I am part of the CEO’s office, my role involves working closely with the leadership of various teams within the company. Hence, I wanted to get into an MBA program which could help me upskill & improve my understanding of the work done by cross functional teams whether it be marketing, finance, operations, product development, etc. One of the biggest benefits of the program that I have personally experienced is that my learning during the weekend, has helped my overall work output during the week in office. Overall this has helped me grow & be part of more complex & exciting projects within the company.
