Biography
Arun Kumar is working as Project Manager at NTPC Ltd, India’s largest energy conglomerate. He has more than 10 years of experience in Field Engineering, Project Coordination, execution, Contract dealing with Indian as well as International bidders and commissioning of different Power Plant Packages. He earned many Technical and Management certification such as AutoCAD, Pro/e, Ansys, RT L-2, LPT-L2, MPI, Certified welding inspector, 21 Module of Harvard Business Publication, Project Management, MS Project, Foundation in general Management from IIML etc. He has vast experience to execute the EPC Contract, post termination of main EPC contractor. His problem solving, strategic thinking and decision-making skill has not only settled all the claims of multiple vendors and service providers but also provided resolution to few high value claims without arbitration and cleared bottleneck for remaining more than 4500Cr worth of contracts to commission the plant.
Moreover, He is a consistent performer from school and cracked many national level examinations like BARC, ISRO, NTPC etc and secured AIR 4th in ISRO examination. He has been recognised through CEO Meritorious awards, Group General Manager Awards, Honour/Appreciation from different association, Professional Circle awards etc almost every year in his organization. He served as Organizing Secretory of welfare association, body member of executive association and Magazine publication in his organization.
