Who Are We Looking For
AMPBA is designed for working professionals with at least 2 years of full-time work experience who wants to learn Analytics, AI and it’s applications to solve organisation/business challenges. Our participants come from diverse industries, functions and backgrounds, yet they share a few common qualities:
Analytical Aptitude
We are looking for individuals who are comfortable with numbers and logic, can break down complex business problems, and want to use data to find answers. This will be evident in your academic background, your exposure to mathematics, and the way you approach problems in your work.
Business and Decision Focus
We are looking for individuals who want to turn data into decisions, not just reports. You may manage a function, product, client portfolio or business and want to make decisions with data, or work with analysts and data scientists and want to speak their language. We look for a clear interest in applying data and AI to solve business challenges and create impact.
Commitment to Learning
We are looking for individuals who are curious, open to new tools and ideas, and ready to grow. You may be a professional moving into a data or AI role from another background, or an analyst ready to move into modelling, AI, and leadership. This will be evident in the steps you have taken to upskill, your growth at work, your willingness to learn new skills such as GenAI, LLMs, Agentic AI and your readiness to give 10–12 hours a week to the programme alongside your job.
Eligibility
Academic Qualification
The applicant must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business Management, Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Science, or equivalent qualification with exposure to mathematics.
Work Experience
The applicant must possess a minimum of 2 years of full-time work experience after graduation (excluding internships) as on the programme start date.
Admission Committee evaluates each applicant on several criteria to ensure that the participants selected for the programme are well-rounded individuals. Each component of the application and the interview is essential, and the selection of the participants for the programme will be made considering a combination of many factors, including:
Quality of relevant work experience such as taking significant responsibility.
Relevant experience in managerial, business, technology or analytics roles, with a demonstrated interest in leveraging data and analytics to strengthen decision-making and address business challenges.
Evidence of professional success.
Likelihood of benefiting from the programme.
Motivation to participate in the programme.
Undergraduate degree performance.
Performance in the interview.
The criteria mentioned above are not in any specific order of importance.
No online admissions test is required as part of the selection process.
Applications are evaluated holistically by the Admissions Committee based on the published selection criteria.
Shortlisted applicants will be invited for an interview, conducted either online or in person.
Application reviews, shortlisting and interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
Only applications submitted online would be accepted.

Admission Calendar
Programme Start Date: Commencement of Foundation Term: January 30, 2027.
Application Fee (Non-Refundable): Rs. 2,000 inclusive of applicable taxes.
Admission Offers: Are rolled out on a rolling basis. If the seats are filled in earlier rounds, the candidates are offered deferred admissions to the next batch. We encourage you to apply at the earliest before the deadline to ensure your application is considered in the current admissions cycle.
Support Letters: Are required only for the company-sponsored candidates. The self-sponsored candidates may choose to ignore the support letters/HR letters for the purpose of the application.
References: ISB would not be soliciting the references in the normal course. They are to be used in case of emergencies or when the situations warrant the same.
