Overview
ISB’s Business Analytics is a student run club, which is meant to help the students get exposure to the ever-growing field of analytics. The vision of the club is to help members understand the role of analytics across industries and to nurture a data-driven approach to problem solving. The club has 90 + members across both the campuses, and these members not only come from analytics background but also from other diverse fields like Consulting, Retail and Finance, et.al.
Our Mission
- To groom the next gen analytics leaders who are equipped with business acumen and technical know-how required to excel in the decision science/analytics function.
- To facilitate skill-development that will enable the members from all industries to make a seamless transition into the data-oriented future world.
Club Activities
Some of the activities that we plan to cover have been listed below
- Analytics Foundation Course - Cover foundational topics across the different pillars of analytics i.e. Tech, Maths and Busines
- Personalized Journey - For our club members, we create personalized learning journeys to ensure that the members hit the ground running with superior business acumen along with the necessary technical-skills
- Career Pathways - Advanced skill building sessions to help the club members progress in their personalized analytics journey
- Analytics Boot Camps – Hands on Session to walk club members through the complete journey of executing an analytical problem
Aryaman Agrawal
President
Aryaman, a 2022 graduate from BITS Pilani has close to 4 years of experience in Analytics and Consulting. Throughout his career, he has worked across markets spanning the US, UK, and India and has developed an expertise in areas of Deep Analytics, Machine Learning, and Strategy.
Aryaman started off his career as an Associate at Indus Insights, an analytics consulting firm based out of Gurgaon, where he was one of the earliest to be promoted to the position of Senior Associate. He later joined Slice Small Finance Bank in Bangalore, where he worked as a Senior Credit Risk Analyst for close to 2 years before coming to ISB.
Beyond academics, Aryaman is most likely to be found watching or streaming sports including Tennis, Badminton, Squash, F1, or Football.
Krati Gupta
Vice President
Krati graduated with a degree in Statistics from Lady Shri Ram College for Women. Following her undergraduate studies, she joined Bain & Company, where she worked across analytics and research engagements, primarily within the retail sector. Through her experience, she developed a strong understanding of using data to solve business problems and generate actionable insights. Her work enabled her to approach analytics not just from a technical perspective, but through a broader business lens, combining analytical thinking with strategic decision-making.
As Vice President of the Business Analytics Club, she hopes to leverage these experiences to help her peers apply data-driven thinking to solve domain-specific problems and explore the role of AI in improving decision-making and efficiency.
Beyond academics and professional pursuits, Krati enjoys playing basketball and badminton and has a keen interest in music.
Yaski Srikar
President
Srikar is originally from Telangana and is a graduate of IIT Madras, where he pursued Chemical Engineering and actively contributed to student leadership initiatives. During his time at IIT Madras, he served as the Head (Core) of the Mess Monitoring and Control Committee, leading teams and coordinating across multiple stakeholders to improve student experience and campus operations. He has nearly 3 years of experience in Data Science and Analytics and has worked at American Express in the Commercial Marketing Decision Sciences team, where he worked on building data-driven marketing solutions and predictive models that supported strategic business decision-making. He also pursued CFA Level 1, reflecting his interest in finance and its intersection with analytics.
Beyond academics and professional pursuits, Srikar enjoys teaching, music, meeting new people, and exploring cinema across genres.
Yashika Gupta
Vice President
Yashika Gupta is a graduate of IIT Bombay, where she completed an Integrated B.Tech. and M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Data Science. She has worked at American Express, focusing on Financial Crime Risk Management, and at Arcana Analytics, where she contributed to a Portfolio Risk Management tool, leveraging analytics and machine learning to strengthen risk frameworks and drive business outcomes across global markets.
Passionate about making analytics accessible beyond technical roles, Yashika believes data literacy is becoming an essential leadership skill. As Vice President of the Business Analytics Club, her focus is on fostering a community where students develop analytical thinking, explore emerging areas like AI, and learn to translate data into meaningful business impact.
Beyond academics and work, she enjoys reading and exploring questions around human behaviour and decision-making. Driven by curiosity and continuous learning, she is particularly interested in understanding how data, technology, and human judgment come together to shape better decisions.
