Overview

ISB’s Business Analytics is a student run club, which is meant to help the students get exposure to the ever-growing field of analytics. The vision of the club is to help members understand the role of analytics across industries and to nurture a data-driven approach to problem solving. The club has 90 + members across both the campuses, and these members not only come from analytics background but also from other diverse fields like Consulting, Retail and Finance, et.al.

Our Mission

  • To groom the next gen analytics leaders who are equipped with business acumen and technical know-how required to excel in the decision science/analytics function​.
  • To facilitate skill-development that will enable the members from all industries to make a seamless transition into the data-oriented future world.

Club Activities

Some of the activities that we plan to cover have been listed below 

  1. Analytics Foundation Course - Cover foundational topics across the different pillars of analytics i.e. Tech, Maths and Busines 
  2. Personalized Journey - For our club members, we create personalized learning journeys to ensure that the members hit the ground running with superior business acumen along with the necessary technical-skills 
  3. Career Pathways - Advanced skill building sessions to help the club members progress in their personalized analytics journey 
  4. Analytics Boot Camps – Hands on Session to walk club members through the complete journey of executing an analytical problem
Sahil Chalak

Parth Mandhana

President

Parth Mandhana graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance from Ashoka University, where he ranked first in his major and received the Academic Excellence Award. Hailing from the suburbs of southern Maharashtra, Parth began his career at Indus Insights, a boutique analytics consulting firm, where he worked across a variety of strategy and data science engagements in the fintech and BFSI sectors. His work spanned everything from market entry strategies and customer segmentation to building deep machine learning models for credit risk and insurance pricing. His strength lies in combining technical depth with structured business thinking to drive decisions that are both data-rich and strategically grounded.

He thrives in intellectually demanding environments, especially those that require cross-functional problem-solving and long-term thinking. Outside of academics and work, he’s a passionate follower of football, an enthusiast of astrophysics, and someone who finds joy in logical problem-solving puzzles. Grounded, curious, and always up for a challenge, Parth brings a thoughtful, impact-oriented mindset to everything he takes on.

Manasvi Jaiswal

Neelansh Verma

Vice President

Neelansh Verma earned his B.Tech. in Industrial Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. With close to 3 years of experience in the fintech and financial services domain, he has worked at Barclays and Jupiter Money, a leading neobank, where he specialized in portfolio management and credit risk strategy. At Jupiter Money, he worked extensively on building the lending business for the NBFC-driving portfolio growth strategies while effectively managing risk and ensuring default rates remained within threshold limits. He has consistently leveraged advanced analytics to scale the consumer card and lending business without compromising on risk discipline.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Neelansh is a passionate Formula 1 fan, an avid driver, and a drummer, always eager to chase rhythm, speed, and new experiences.

Sahil Chalak

Tushar Bansal

President

Tushar hails from the royal city of Patiala and is a graduate of IIT Delhi (Class of 2021), where he led multi-tier student teams and served as Mentorship Coordinator at the Board for Student Welfare. A seasoned analytics professional, Tushar has worked with international brands such as PayU, OLX, and Noon E-commerce, leading high-impact projects across geographies including Europe, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. He has applied data science and analytics across multiple business domains, Product, Operations, Marketing, and HR enabling data-backed decision-making and operational excellence. His career is marked by a consistent focus on leveraging data to solve real-world problems, while managing diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Beyond work, Tushar has a passion for the arts, psychology, and politics. He enjoys dance, dramatics, and creative expression, and is an avid follower and player of cricket. As President of the Business Analytics Club at the Mohali campus, Tushar envisions creating a platform that not only equips students with technical tools but also helps them build intuition for solving business problems through data. He is committed to fostering a collaborative environment where analytics becomes a key driver of innovation, curiosity, and impact across all career paths.

Manasvi Jaiswal

Ambuj Garg

Vice President

Ambuj brings his analytical expertise as a BITS Pilani alumnus (Class of 2021), where he demonstrated exceptional leadership as President of the Chemistry Association and Project Lead for Nirmaan Organization, directly impacting 700+ underprivileged students through educational initiatives across 10 partner schools. His professional journey spans India's leading technology companies including Zomato and Noon E-commerce, where he has architected transformative data solutions across Indian and Middle Eastern markets. At Zomato, he pioneered the analytics foundation for Zomato Live, scaling it to a $10M business with 1M+ users, while designing merchant intelligence platforms that serve 3,000+ event organizers and achieve 50% contract renewal rates. His consulting experience at Indus Insights involved developing predictive models for international clients, including a breakthrough framework that reduced default rates by 40% and recovered $800K for a US lending firm.

Beyond his professional achievements, Ambuj is a passionate performer who has been giving stage performances since childhood and an adventurous spirit who has conquered multiple Himalayan treks. He co-founded Edgenus, an innovative ed-tech startup connecting aspiring artists with industry professionals from entertainment sectors. As Vice President of the Business Analytics Club, Ambuj is committed to building immersive learning experiences that bridge academic theory with real-world application. His vision focuses on establishing industry partnerships, creating hands-on project workshops, and developing peer mentorship networks that will empower students to become confident analytical problem-solvers capable of driving business impact across diverse sectors and markets.
