Rishabh Raj
President
Rishabh is a BTech graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB), where he was part of the Entrepreneurship Cell, the Finance Club's Investment Team, and led social entrepreneurship competitions at a pan-India scale.
Before ISB, Rishabh built his career across two distinct worlds: strategy consulting at Eversana, advising multinational pharmaceutical and MedTech clients on multi-million dollar mandates, and venture capital at Unicorn India Ventures, a B2B Deeptech fund, where he managed end-to-end investment lifecycle across deeptech sectors, actively managed 10+ portfolio companies, and became the youngest Associate in the fund's history.
A builder by instinct, Rishabh believes a VC career is not built on awareness or skills alone. It is built on access, and he is here to help the batch build it. Down the line, he plans to launch his own impact investing-focused VC fund, and he sees his contribution to the EVC Club as where that journey truly begins.
Beyond work, he is a photographer, painter, and traveller who grew up in Purnea, Bihar. He lives by a simple conviction: dream big no matter the circumstances, and trust that consistent effort always compounds.

Rajat Malik
Vice President
Rajat is a Commerce (Hons.) graduate from Hindu College, University of Delhi, where he also served as the President of the Entrepreneurship Cell. Driven by entrepreneurship from an early stage, Rajat chose to trust his instincts right out of college. Despite having the option to pursue a consulting role, he decided to cofound Houseitt, a student housing search platform focused on the Delhi University ecosystem. In under three years, the venture raised funding, scaled meaningfully, and became one of the most viral student housing startups within the university circuit.
Following this, Rajat explored both the operating and investing sides of the startup ecosystem through short stints in edtech at Quollab and venture capital at Blume Ventures. He later joined BeatO, India’s largest diabetes management startup founded by an ISB alum. Over four years at BeatO, he worked across roles including Chief of Staff and Director of Growth, managing three business P&Ls worth over ₹30 crore ARR and leading initiatives that acquired more than 100,000 users. His journey as an operator gave him exposure to revenue management, service operations, 0 to 1 business building, commercial strategy, stakeholder management, vendor negotiations, and cross functional execution at scale. At his core, Rajat sees himself as a builder who enjoys creating, experimenting, and scaling ideas from the ground up. Through his journey at Indian School of Business and the EVC community, he hopes to deepen his understanding of entrepreneurship, investing, and business leadership while contributing meaningfully to the startup ecosystem around him.
Beyond work, he enjoys reading books, playing chess, and travelling. He strongly believes that some of the best learning in life happens outside classrooms through conversations, experiences, and stepping into unfamiliar environments.

Chaitanya Marulkar
President
Chaitanya brings 6+ years of venture capital and private investing experience, most recently as Associate Vice President at Blume Ventures where he built the Capital Networks desk from scratch (Blume's in-house investment bank for portfolio companies pursuing growth-stage fundraising). Prior to Blume, he was part of the Alternative Investments team at Avendus Capital, facilitating $800M of deployment across new-age startups.
Having worked closely with founders and investors across stages, Chaitanya brings deep venture investing fluency and an active global investor network to every conversation. He is a Chartered Accountant (ICAI, 2019) and an alumnus of Narsee Monjee College, Mumbai. Outside the classroom, you'll find him reading non-mainstream fiction, medieval history, or solo-travelling to off-beat destinations.
