Mission
Our mission at ISB Fashion Club is to unlock the transformative power of fashion. We strive to inspire individuals to confidently articulate their unique identities through their style choices. We endeavor to provide resources and opportunities that foster industry understanding and facilitate successful placements within the fashion sector. Recognizing fashion as an expressive platform, a thriving business, and an academic discipline, we aim to broaden the conversation and encourage a diverse and inclusive understanding of its multifaceted nature.
With a strong commitment to environmental stewardship, we champion sustainable practices, advocating for an industry that respects both people and planet. We foresee a world where the principles of sustainable fashion are deeply ingrained, not as an alternative, but as the norm, shaping future leaders in the global fashion industry who will innovate with integrity and awareness.
Jahnavi Biyani
President
Jahnavi is an Emory University (Atlanta, USA) graduate with dual degrees in Finance and Economics, bringing a sharp business lens to everything she does — including her deep passion for fashion and lifestyle.
Her professional journey spans 3+ years at Deutsche Bank in New York, where she managed complex portfolios of cross-border cash management solutions, investments and liquidity for global clients, growing revenue across the Non-Bank Financial Institutions & Industrials space. Having lived in New York, one of the fashion capitals of the world, and led the Fashion and Business Club at Emory University, Jahnavi brings both global exposure and genuine passion to this role.
At ISB, as President of the Fashion & Lifestyle Club, Jahnavi's vision is to make fashion expressive, inclusive, and confidence-building for every student on campus. From industry deep-dives and collaborations with Hyderabad's local entrepreneurs, to themed experiences and style workshops — she hopes to build a campus where fashion becomes confidence, creativity, and community!
Ashita Jain
Vice President
Ashita is an Environmental Engineering graduate with a minor in Economics from Delhi Technological University. She has worked across energy, sustainability, and FMCG consulting projects, developing a strong appreciation for professionalism and personal presence in corporate spaces.
Beyond work, she is a spoken word poet, national-level storyteller, creative writer, and digital creator who believes fashion, grooming, and personal style are powerful forms of confidence and self-expression. Through the Fashion Club, she hopes to encourage individuality, authenticity, and confident self-presentation among future leaders
Aastha Saxena
President
Aastha Saxena is an engineer, designer, and community builder who enjoys bringing ideas to life. With 2.5 years of experience across the FMCG and electronics industries, she has worked in marketing, strategy, operations, and business planning, while building a strong foundation in brand building and visual storytelling. Whether it is designing a campaign, shaping a brand, organizing an event, or building a community, she enjoys combining creativity with execution. Through her experiences in entrepreneurship, marketing, and graphic design, she has developed an interest in storytelling and the role design plays in shaping experiences.
Fashion has always been a part of Aastha's life. From experimenting with outfits at a young age to exploring fashion, design, and lifestyle trends, she has always viewed fashion as a form of self-expression. For her, fashion is about confidence, comfort, and individuality. She believes style should be accessible and inclusive, allowing people to express themselves in a way that feels authentic. In the long run, she hopes to build her own fashion and lifestyle brand that brings together design, storytelling, and conscious consumption.
