Overview

As a club, we bring together some of the brightest minds, interested in exploring the ever changing dynamics of marketing. The club aims at keeping members abreast with the latest on marketing while integrating the vast experience of its members across  functions and industries such as  Advertising, Research, Sales, Branding communication, Digital marketing, Media to name a few.

We firmly believe that a sound business education is an ideal mix of a world class curriculum and practical learning opportunities. As such, the club strives to create opportunities for members to learn by doing.

Uday Prakash

President

Uday Prakash, who represents his identity as "Born out of Asia's largest slum," turns adversity into opportunity. His journey started in the bustling lanes of Dharavi, where he and his friends founded TheBoredMonkey, an influencer marketing agency.

From launching marketing campaigns to building teams from scratch, Uday has worn many hats in the marketing world. Today, TheBoredMonkey serves over 100 top brands and continues to grow, just like Uday’s passion for all things marketing. But wait, there's more! Uday is also a seasoned farmer, transforming paddy and cotton fields with innovative practices from seeding to selling.

Now at ISB, Uday seamlessly connects marketing and entrepreneurship, blending creative prowess with strategic acumen. When he’s not buried in marketing strategies or leading club activities, he’s always up for brainstorming the next big campaign, analyzing market trends, or simply having a candid chat over coffee. Ready to dive into his world? Uday is all in!

Mohini Rajamani

With an ardent belief that marketing is a ubiquitous skill that everyone benefits from, Mohini Rajamani joins Marketing Club as the Vice-President with 3.5 years of experience in the field.

An engineer by education, she soon realized that a dynamic, fast paced and consumer centric  role is where her true calling lies.

She made the transition to marketing with the world 2nd largest alco-bev company, Pernod Ricard (makers of Jameson, Ballantine’s, Chivas, Absolut etc) where she first joined as Territory Marketing Executive, handling marketing execution for their entire portfolio of brands for the state of Andhra Pradesh.

She then moved to the largest market in the country, Telangana as a brand custodian for 3 large whisky brands in the marketing planning team as Territory Marketing Manager.

Excited about all things marketing, digital and consumer, she is excited to create impact through the Marketing Club initiatives!

Outside of work, she enjoys dancing, reading, and taking long walks on the ring road 😊

Chandani Mahajan

Chandani brings over 6 years of rich experience in the FMCG industry, having worked with renowned companies such as Nielsen and Hindustan Unilever Limited.

She began her career at Nielsen, where she gained a deep understanding of data analytics, market research, and consumer insights. This experience enabled her to provide valuable insights and strategic recommendations to more than 15 leading FMCG brands and categories, driving impactful marketing strategies and improving brands’ performance in the retail market.

At HUL, she honed her skills further by working extensively on marketing and media-specific data analytics. She also played a crucial role in innovation-related projects, which led to the successful launch of several high-profile brand variants in India.

Outside of work, Chandani enjoys traveling, capturing moments through photography, and experimenting with healthy cooking.

Arushi Gupta

Arushi Gupta

Vice President

A graduate of Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, Arushi is a dynamic and all-rounder marketing professional with a flair for startup success. With over 6 years of experience, she has been the driving force behind the success of numerous digital products, from online marketplaces to dating apps. Having excelled across growth, monetization strategy, product, branding, and more.

Starting at an incubation centre, she masterminded the go-to-market strategies for 7+ diverse digital products. Later, joining a boutique marketing consultancy, she played a pivotal role in auditing, launching, and growing 40+ apps, helping early startup founders across the globe realise their dreams. Her journey continued at a $300M travel tech company, where she led performance marketing in six countries, quickly becoming one of the youngest leads in the organisation. Arushi’s strategic acumen and passion for growth are evident in her ability to turn ideas from 0 to 1, demonstrating her knack for making impactful changes.

Arushi's commitment extends beyond professional achievements. She founded Ananta, an initiative to ensure menstrual dignity in underprivileged women, reflecting her dedication to women’s rights and social impact. She is also a vocal advocate for mental health, highlighting her well-rounded approach to making a difference.

Outside of her professional and social endeavours, Arushi enjoys whipping up delightful home-cooked meals, bringing warmth and creativity to everything she does. She also loves discussing spirituality and Kabir's poetry on life and beyond. Her blend of marketing expertise, strategic insight, and genuine compassion reflects her commitment to making a positive impact at work & beyond.
