Quiz Club
Overview
The Quiz Club acts as a platform for the ISB Community to experience the sheer joy of jogging one's grey cells and exercising one's curiosity. This community is constantly encouraged to be creative, spontaneous and think out of the box. If you love the thrill of getting to the correct answers quickly, and have a penchant for inquisitiveness, do join us for one of our events. The Club conducts regular theme based quizzes on campus, and conducts quizzes for many flagship events at ISB.
Hardik Vakil
President
Hardik Vakil is a former strategy consultant at Indus Insights, where he advised BFSI firms on strategy and analytics. He holds a degree in Economics from the Shri Ram College of Commerce, where he also served as President of The Marketing Society and led India’s largest undergraduate marketing festival.
A national-level quizzer and FIDE-rated chess player, Hardik has won prestigious quizzes like Canara Bank’s Knowledge Champ and IMS GQuest. At ISB, he envisions the Quiz Club as a platform that blends trivia with deeper inquiry - sparking sharper thinking, structured debate, and meaningful conversations across disciplines.
Mahima Dixit
Vice President
Mahima Dixit studied Economics at Hindu College, Delhi University, and worked in the social impact consulting space before joining ISB. At MicroSave Consulting, she was part of projects focused on financial inclusion, public policy, and development strategy-contributing through research, data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and writing. She also participated in fellowships and innovation programs that deepened her interest in solving real-world challenges through structured, collaborative approaches.
Outside of work, Mahima has always enjoyed being part of communities that value curiosity and conversation. She was active in debates, MUNs, and quizzes in school, and later took on leadership roles in college, including serving as Finance Head at Enactus. She aspires to cultivate a dynamic and inclusive quizzing culture that inspires curiosity and a passion for learning among all.
Anushka Gupta
President
Anushka is a driven professional with a deep interest in quizzing and knowledge-based engagement. She graduated from Christ University with a triple major in Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics, and has since gained experience in finance through roles at TresVista and Avendus.
She holds multiple gold medals in national Olympiads and enjoys challenging herself, a mindset that makes quizzing not just intellectually stimulating, but genuinely fun. At ISB, she hopes to bring this passion and experience to her role as President of the Quiz Club.
Nevedetha Swaminathan
Vice President
Nevedetha Swaminathan’s enthusiasm for quizzing and trivia developed early on in her childhood, where she was exposed to quiz programmes, books and puzzles. She has won several competitions at school, college, and also at work. She sees quizzing as a stress-buster tool, and solves puzzles and quizzes daily. Her vision for the club is to make quizzing an enjoyable experience for all by empowering the student community to partake in events and share the buzz of quizzing with them. She also hopes to spread the reach of quizzing by curating activities that balance challenge with achievability and relatability.
Before ISB, Nevedetha was a Senior Associate at Goldman Sachs, where she spent about 4.5 years in Treasury, and Asset and Wealth Management divisions. She also spent a year at Barclays as an Analyst in the Equities and Derivatives Middle Office. She is an ACCA Member and holds a Bachelors in Accounting and Finance.
