Spectrum Club
Overview
Spectrum is the Diversity and Inclusion club of the Indian School of Business. We focus on creating a safe space for people from the LGBTQIA+ community. Spectrum works to drive change around LGBTQIA+ issues in the workplace, at Indian School of Business, and in the local community. We focus on cohort-wide education, sensitization and growth for the LGBTQIA+ community. We also partner with employers committed to the highest diversity and inclusion standards throughout the year. We collaborate with other global B-schools to create a collaborative community globally. Celebrate the rainbow with us during Pride Parade, the flagship event of the club where we celebrate love through poetry, dance, and music.

Bhavya Mishra
President
Bhavya is an engineer who spent close to five years at Boston Consulting Group working across banking and financial services strategy. At BCG, her most meaningful work was building a more inclusive workplace, serving as India Diversity Champion for Pride@BCG and leading the Pride pillar of BCG Cares. She launched BCG India's first flagship Pride event, curated Pride Flea Markets with queer entrepreneurs, ran panel discussions with LGBTQ+ leaders, and mentored queer individuals from NGO partners. Her commitment earned her the APAC Trailblazers of Societal Impact Award two years running, in 2024 and 2025.
A proud ally for over a decade, Bhavya has worked with several NGOs across HIV awareness, housing, livelihoods, and mentorship for queer and transgender communities in India.
At ISB, she envisions Spectrum as ISB's inclusion conscience, preparing future leaders to engage meaningfully with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities, and building a safe, vibrant space for everyone, queer, neurodivergent, specially abled, and ally alike.

Kanishk Gupta

Kanishk completed his undergraduate studies at IIT Kanpur. Prior to joining ISB, he spent four years at Flipkart, where he worked in the Business Development and Category Management functions.
During his corporate career, Kanishk was a founding member of Flipkart’s Pride Employee Resource Group (ERG), working to advance workplace inclusion and foster a culture of belonging for the LGBTQIA+ community. Drawing on these experiences, he is committed to building an inclusive and supportive campus environment at ISB.
As the President of the Spectrum Club, Kanishk focuses on fostering peer support, strengthening community engagement, promoting empathy and awareness, and ensuring that the campus remains a welcoming space for all members of the LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent communities.
