Samiksha Sharma
President Samiksha has had a rich experience in E-Commerce domain before joining ISB. After completing her post graduate degree in Data Science and Machine Learning from BITS Hyderabad, she was working at Flipkart for about 3 years driving their automation strategy initiative as part of the NLP team. Samiksha has also handled projects at every stage of the E-Commerce lifecycle, like Chatbots, Social Media Sentiment Analysis and was responsible for scaling multiple Customer Experience initiatives across Flipkart, Myntra and Jabong. She is passionate about theatre and dancing. You can also find her painting when she wants to take a break and relax.

Navee Gupta
Vice President Navee holds the wholesome experience of working across diverse functions of the Omni-channel Retail industry like Order, Inventory and Store Management. She started her career by working for a start-up (Expicient.Inc) in Order Management solutions, which fostered in her the interest of various Omni-channel models in the Retail industry. She further went on to work for Sapient Razorfish in developing and implementing solutions to various Omni-channel needs of US Retail giants. She is a Green Belt in Six Sigma and believes that the Omni-channel coupled with Lean operations is the way forward for Indian Retail. She is also a fitness freak and is on her way to becoming a certified Zumba instructor.
What I love about Retail & E-commerce?
The upcoming trend of ‘Phygital’ is what excites Navee the most. She feels that it opens innumerable opportunities in every field. She believes that this industry is an amalgam of the old and new, and that’s what makes this Industry super exciting to work in!

A graduate from NIFT (09’) and has worked for over nine years in retail Industry in various functions (Category management/Operations/Sales). Interested in understanding how things work and how to make things better. Love to make friends laugh and have no problem in coming up something fun to do at the last moment; although autonomous and independent, has a chip that brings up the spontaneity in him.
Member of REC Club as L&D coordinator, working to share and contribute towards the learning of club members and enhance self-learning of E-commerce Industry at the same time.

Chaitali has close to 2 years of work experience at Ernst & Young where she was an analyst in the technology risk consulting service line. Prior to joining EY, she was the strategic partnerships lead at The Indian Economist and managed the first ever start-up incubator for women entrepreneurs with Zone Start-ups India and Google. As part of AIESEC, she managed multiple social projects and led their sales initiatives.

Hemanth Penmetsa
Alumni Relations Coordinator Hemanth pursued Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras. He co-founded 180 Degree Consulting – IITM chapter, an entity which provides pro bono consulting for NGOs and social enterprises. He worked with ITC Limited in its Education and Stationery Products Business and was responsible for the overall operations planning for Notebooks of Classmate & Paperkraft brands. Hemanth comes across as a photography enthusiast and he spends his free time with movies.

A design graduate from NIFT, Shruti has over six years of experience in the retail space with a few of India’s largest branded houses namely Lifestyle, Raymond and Fabindia. After working briefly as a visual merchandiser at Lifestyle, she moved to apparel design for menswear. Both at Raymond and Fabindia, she has been instrumental in the curation and launch of various new categories. In her free time, Shruti loves to play with her magic wand on Photoshop, with a shot of espresso and a dash of loud music on the side. Besides, if you happen to spot her quiet, it only means she is eating or waiting to eat something!
