Experience: I come from a Fashion Technology background (apparel production) and have worked in different setups of apparel retail – Design house (More Mischief), a domestic brand (Raymond) and an international brand (Calvin Klein) across diverse profiles of Merchandising, buying, category management, production and sales. 
What excites me about retail: I am super passionate about the retail industry, having chosen an undergraduate degree specializing in that. What excites me the most about the retail and E-commerce industry is the ever-changing goals because it is a very individual customer centric focused industry.

Aditya Verma
Vice President Experience: Aditya, the boy from Delhi, has had rich experiences in the E-Commerce environment in his career so far. His motivation to take on new projects led him to work with start-ups in the domain of E-Commerce. As the youngest core team member at FabFurnish.com, he has extensively worked in Logistics, Operations, Business Intelligence and Strategy. Further, his experience with Future Group helped him gain a proficient understanding of the Retail sector in India.
What excites me most about retail: Aditya can often be found sweet talking about the wonderful customer-centric ideology of IKEA and how it’s such an exciting time to for the Retail industry today with IKEA entering the Indian market.

Payas Agrawal
L&D Events Coordinator

Experience: During my 6 years of experience I have worked for about a year at Accenture and thereafter at Adobe for 5 years. I was working in QA domain and have tried my hands on diverse products ranging between Technical content authoring, E-learning and Digital Marketing. As part of my work, I have worked with and supervised cross functional external partners from UK and Beijing. Back at home, I help my family run day to day activities of Kalawatika Foundation – a non-profit family owned art learning center in painting & pottery. I developed and maintain Kalawatika’s website which helps us connect with art enthusiasts, reach out prospective members and share the activities and events details with the larger world. 
What excites me most about retail: Digital marketing excites me and I want to explore future career propositions in E-commerce domain and hence, Retail and E-Commerce club is a perfect platform for me.

Bineet Hora
Events Coordinator

Experience: Bineet pursued her Economics degree in Mumbai and went on to join Teach for India as a fellow in Ahmedabad. She then joined her family business of retail in Indian Ethnic Wear in Lucknow.
What excites me most about retail: Primarily seen brick and mortar retail all her life, she is keen to experiment with how omni-channel will work in her line of business.

What excites me most about retail: What excites me about the retail sector is the innovation and disruption which is being brought about to improve the customer experience

Shreshth Saraf
Careers Experience: Shreshth has over 3.5 years of work experience in various fields. Prior to joining ISB, he was working with KPMG, for a period of over 2 years.  Shreshth primarily worked in the area of transfer pricing wherein he evaluated and structured business models based on transfer pricing policies. He has also worked with Tapmobi wherein he performed in-depth market research to define scope and identified risks of competing products (based on the key metrics of traffic, features, sales, user interface and user experience) across varied verticals in the tech industry ranging from mobile applications to interactive flash collaborative websites.
What excites me most about retail: He is the most excited about the growing omni-channel presence of retail giants in the Indian as well as global context.

Aakanksha Agrawal
Marketing Coordinator Experience: As an analyst with McKinsey, I served a multi-national conglomerate and worked closely with the client’s Global Marketing Center. I worked on a set of diverse projects, primarily conducting in-depth research to devise go-to-market strategy for products ranging from consumer electronics to home appliances across geographies.
What excites me most about retail: The ambit of retail space in India, and the seamless integration of technology with brick-and-mortar retail stores to attract and retain customer footfall.

Tanmaya Aggarwal
President

Prior to ISB, Tanmaya worked at Paytm, helping the company scale its e-commerce arm (now known as PaytmMall). During his 3-year tenure, Tanmaya donned different hats and worked across multiple functions with core focus being on supply chain and category management. An electrical engineering graduate from Delhi College of Engineering, prior to Paytm, Tanmaya worked in the thermal power sector where he was responsible for managing large teams to engineer and execute turnkey projects for Govt. of India enterprises.

In his spare time, Tanmaya enjoys sketching and running.

 
Pramit Mishra
Vice President

Before joining ISB, Pramit has worked in the Sales, Marketing and Brand Management roles at FMCG Start-ups. He is passionate about Sales & Marketing and has helped his prior companies to build a solid base in Modern Trade Outlets. He was responsible for negotiations for launch in the Modern Trade Outlets, coming up and managing BTL activities and building a strong brand presence in the Modern Trade Space. Pramit is computer science engineer from background and prior to his journey in FMCG sector, he had worked as an R&D Engineer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

Apart from academics, Pramit enjoys writing Poetry and doing Theatre.

 

Apoorv Singh Saini
Learning and Developent Coordinator

Experience – 18 Months with Amazon Operations & Supply Chain and 4 Months running a hospitality venture.
Apoorv worked with Amazon India as the Outbound Operations Area Manager for one of their largest fulfillment centers in India. His key responsibilities at Amazon included operational planning and flow management, manpower management and supply chain optimization and he was a part of the global packaging experience team. A Civil Engineering and Finance graduate from BITS Pilani, Apoorv had previously interned at Nomura’s Global Financial Control division for 6 months. He plays basketball and pursues watercolor painting as a hobby.


Swapnil
Events Coordinator

Before joining ISB, Swapnil worked for a year with PwC US (Advisory) where he delivered strategic frameworks for clients in the financial services sector to contain the fintech revolution. Prior to this, he worked as a Product Manager for an eCommerce firm called Yepme.com for 2 years. Here he was accountable for the conversions happening over the mobile and desktop sites/apps. He also carried out ERP and BI implementations to ensure that business stakeholders had access to vital business metrics at the click of a button.
He started his career as a developer with Deloitte, India after completing his B.Tech in Mining Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2014.
Other than reading cases and strategizing, Swapnil enjoys running and playing badminton.


Anurag Gupta
Alum Affairs Coordinator

Before joining ISB, Anurag worked for nearly 3 years at Flipkart as a software developer.  He worked on building core warehousing services for e-kart logistics. He played a key role in developing the grocery capabilities and the facilities platform that onboarded all logistic capabilities like warehouses, mother hubs, delivery hubs on one single place. 
An electronics engineer graduate from BITS Pilani (Batch of 2015), prior to Flipkart, he started his own venture Treebooks in Pilani, an initiative that subsidised stationery costs for students and provided local retailers/brands a cost-effective advertising medium on notebook covers.
Apart from academics, he is keyboard player and plays tennis.


Satya Mathur
Communications Coordinator

Satya worked as a business analyst at Bira 91 before joining ISB. During his two-year stint, he assisted the CFO and the CSO on critical projects, and was the implementation lead for the SFA solution. Satya played a major role in the annual planning and budgeting process for FY 2019 and received the Rookie-of-the-Year award for his contributions.
Satya read Management Studies at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi. In whatever spare time b-school grants, Satya enjoys drawing web-comics, writing jokes for his fledgling stand-up act and playing football.
