Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Bharti Institute for Public Policy (BIPP) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) is a premier research and education centre and a leading public policy think tank. The institute engages with policy makers by providing them with critical, evidence-based analysis of public policy rooted in data. The institute works on policy challenges across diverse domains, primarily Agriculture and Food, Environment and Climate Change, Public Finance, and Education.

We are currently searching for two Graphic Design Interns to support the visual communication of policy ideas, research insights, reports, presentations, and digital campaigns at the Bharti Institute of Public Policy. The duration of the internship is six months.

Job Specifications

Knowledge / Education:

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in:
  a) Communication Design
  b) Graphic Design
  c) Information Design
  d) Visual Arts, Animation and Film Design
  e) Strategic Design Management, or related fields

Specific Skills:

• Strong organisational and coordination capabilities
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• High attention to detail and content quality
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams
• Ease of working under tight timelines
• Proficiency in Tools:
  a) Adobe Illustrator
  b) Adobe InDesign
  c) Photoshop
  d) Canva
  e) Figma
  f) PowerPoint/Google Slides
• Comfort with AI tools for role-specific tasks

Desirable Experience:

• Strong visual storytelling and design thinking skills
• Ability to work with data visualisation and infographic design
• Interest in public policy, governance, development, or social impact communication
• Motion graphics/video editing skills are a plus
