ISB has partnered with more than 50 leading schools to give students a holistic experience and global perspective.

Associate Schools

ISB's academic excellence is bolstered by partnerships with globally renowned schools. It associated with the founding schools, Wharton School and the Kellogg School of Management, in November 1997. Later, it partnered with London Business School in December 2000.

ISB also partnered with the Fletcher School, Tufts University, for the Bharti Institute of Public Policy in December 2010. ISB continued its relationship with Wharton for establishing the 'Max Institute of Healthcare' in April 2011. These collaborations provide global insights while maintaining relevance to the Indian context through a strong developmental focus.

The Kellogg School of Management, part of Northwestern University, is renowned for its emphasis on collaborative leadership, marketing, and strategy. It offers MBA, executive education, and PhD programmes, with a focus on teamwork, innovation, and experiential learning. Kellogg is known for its strong marketing faculty, diverse student body, and global programmes. The school encourages a highly interactive and community-driven learning environment.

The Wharton School, founded in 1881, is the business school of the University of Pennsylvania and one of the world's most prestigious business schools. The school emphasises data-driven decision-making, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Wharton has a vast global alumni network, including numerous CEOs and business leaders.

London Business School (LBS), founded in 1964, is a leading business school and part of the University of London. Known for its strong finance, strategy, and leadership programmes, LBS offers top-ranked MBA, Executive MBA, Master's in Finance, Master's in Management, and PhD programmes. The school emphasises global perspectives, experiential learning, and strong industry connections, leveraging its location in London, a major financial hub. LBS has a highly international student body and faculty, with an extensive global alumni network that includes influential business leaders and entrepreneurs.

Fletcher

Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University)

The Fletcher School, part of Tufts University, specialises in international affairs, diplomacy, and global business. It offers master’s and PhD programmes in international relations, global affairs, and law. Unlike traditional business schools, Fletcher focuses on public policy, international security, development, and global trade, attracting students pursuing careers in diplomacy, international organizations, and multinational corporations.

Accreditations

ISB was the first business school in South Asia to earn AACSB international accreditation in December 2011. It later received EQUIS accreditation in March 2017, joining a select list of schools worldwide with both AACSB and EQUIS accreditations. Finally, in May 2020, ISB achieved AMBA accreditation and became the 100th business school in the world to hold the prestigious "triple crown" of accreditations. Operating from two campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali under the "One School, Two Campuses" philosophy, ISB ensures a unified academic experience.

AACSB

AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business)

AACSB is a US-based accreditation body that focuses on business education quality, faculty qualifications, research impact, and continuous improvement. Established in 1916, AACSB is considered one of the most prestigious and widely recognised accreditations for business schools globally. It emphasises strategic management, innovation, and engagement with industry and society. Schools with AACSB accreditation are recognised for their rigorous academic standards and commitment to continuous improvement.

EFMD

EQUIS (EFMD Quality Improvement System)

EQUIS, administered by EFMD (European Foundation for Management Development), is a European-based accreditation that evaluates business schools holistically, considering their internationalisation, corporate connections, research, and social responsibility. EQUIS is known for its comprehensive approach, ensuring schools maintain a strong balance between academic rigor and practical relevance. Accredited schools typically have a global focus and strong links with the business community.

AMBA

AMBA (Association of MBAs)

AMBA, founded in 1967 in the UK, focuses specifically on MBA, DBA, and master’s programmes. Unlike AACSB and EQUIS, which accredit entire institutions, AMBA accredits individual programmes based on their academic rigor, faculty quality, career impact, and internationalisation. AMBA accreditation is highly regarded, particularly in Europe, Asia, and Latin America, and ensures that MBA programmes meet high global standards.
