If Term 1 was about finding my footing, Term 2 was about testing my endurance. It lasted just a month, but it felt like a marathon compressed into four intense weeks, with every day demanding a little more focus, patience and resilience.

When Finance Finally Made Sense

For me, Finance had always been a tough nut to crack, full of formulas that felt distant and abstract. But somewhere in the middle of the Corporate Finance, something shifted.

Between balance sheets, valuation cases and late-night discussions with peers, I began to see the beauty in the logic. It was no longer just about numbers. It was about understanding how decisions shape businesses.

For the first time, I did not feel like I was struggling to keep up. I was genuinely learning, growing and connecting the dots. That shift in perspective made all the difference.

Balance, Burnout and Finding Joy in Between

Term 2 was not just about academics. It was about learning to balance everything at once. With SIP season in full swing, placement preparation became as demanding as coursework. There were days when managing it all felt impossible, but what truly made the difference was the people.

Peers who stayed up late explaining concepts, friends who checked in before every submission and moments of laughter that cut through exhaustion reminded me that ISB is as much about collaboration as it is about competition.

And then came Garba night. In the middle of deadlines and aptitude tests, for a few hours, the entire batch danced, laughed and forgot about everything else. I remember learning steps from classmates one moment and attempting an online test the next. Somehow, both felt equally important. That night captured what ISB truly stands for: joy amid chaos and balance amid pressure.

Term 2 taught me that growth does not come from calm. It comes from navigating the storm with grace. As we step into Term 3, I carry with me not just academic lessons, but a quiet confidence that no matter how fast things move, I will find my rhythm again.
