I grew up surrounded by a diverse family business. From plastic injection moulding catering to furniture, white goods and the explosive defence sector, our work has always been varied and fast-paced.

After completing my B.com and Chartered Accountancy course, I realised that while I had a strong finance background, I needed exposure to other aspects of running a business like marketing, negotiation, and operations.

That understanding became my motivation to look for a programme that could bridge these gaps.

Choosing PGP MFAB

ISB was the perfect fit because it is research-based and not just a teaching school. The focus on real-life, case-study-backed learning was exactly what I was looking for.

I had heard firsthand from a close friend in the previous cohort about how the PGP MFAB programme works, and it resonated with my situation perfectly. I could not study full-time, but this programme was specially designed for people like me, allowing me to continue running my business while learning structured, applicable strategies.

The courses at ISB cover everything I felt I was missing. Each session not only teaches concepts but also shows how to apply them in real time.

For me, the key is taking these lessons and translating them into actionable decisions for my business. When a topic is different from my immediate needs, I engage with professors to explore how it could be adapted and applied effectively.

Learning from a Diverse Cohort

One of the most enriching aspects has been the cohort itself. Everyone comes from a different state, with unique educational and business backgrounds.

Many of them face challenges similar to mine, and through discussion and collaboration, we share insights and solutions. These peer interactions are as valuable as classroom learning because they offer perspectives I would never have considered on my own.

By combining research-backed learning, applied business strategy, and collaboration with a diverse group of peers, ISB is helping me grow into a more holistic leader.

Every concept I learn here has a direct line to how I can make my business more efficient, innovative, and resilient.
