Govindarajan Narayanan

Govind, an engineering graduate, began his career at Gharda Chemicals, gaining diverse experience in engineering, design, projects, and manufacturing over eight years. From 2000 to 2010, he served as CEO and Managing Director of Shasun, transforming the company from a single-product organisation into a diversified business with expansions into Contract Research and Manufacturing Services (CRAMS) and biologics.

As Managing Director of Aurobindo Pharma from 2010 to 2021, Govind led growth strategies, established new businesses, and executed strategic acquisitions, contributing to substantial company growth. Currently, he is collaborating with TI, a Murugappa Group company, to build a CDMO organisation and serves as an operating partner at Kedaara, a private equity firm. Additionally, he is a board member of the Medicines Patent Pool (MPP).
