Graduation Ceremony of the founding class of the Management Programme in Public Policy (MPPP)

Minister Jitendra Singh will be the Chief Guest at the Graduation Ceremony. Dr. Jitendra Singh is the Minister of State for the Prime Minister’s Office, Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, and Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space.The Graduating Class of the MPPP will also be meeting with the Honourable President of India and the Union Cabinet Secretary the following day.The MPPP was launched a year ago by the Bharti Institute of Public Policy and the Centre for Executive Education at the Indian School of Business, and is a unique programme for mid-career professionals in government, public, private and social sector organizations in India and abroad.
This hybrid, one-year, six residency programme is designed in consultation with the Fletcher School of Diplomacy, Tufts University, and has world-class faculty and experts teaching in the programme. The “residencies” are held at the two campuses of ISB at Hyderabad and Mohali. Faculty and guest speakers interact with the students not just in the classrooms, but also through technology-assisted learning sessions.
One half of the founding class of 40 participants are senior Central and State Government officers of Railways, Defence, Police, IT, Telecom, Posts, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Tribal Development and Food Corporation and other government departments and agencies. The other half of the class consists of a pool of CXOs and Industry/Government relations professionals from global and Indian private and social sector organizations.
