ISB hosts 35-member delegation of Young Entrepreneur School

The Indian School of Business recently hosted a 35-member delegation of Young Entrepreneur School (YES) consisting of family business enterprises from various Tier-II cities in Tamil Nadu like Coimbatore, Pollachi, Karur, Salem, and others.

The visit was organised by the Office of External Relations, ISB, in collaboration with the Thomas Schmidheiny Centre for Family Enterprise at ISB (TSCFE), at the Hyderabad campus.

During their visit, Nupur Pavan Bang, Academic Director, TSCFE, delivered a masterclass on ‘Succession Planning’.

“With the entry of the next generation in family businesses, there are often differences in opinions between the older and the next generation about aspects like modernisation, hiring young and fresh blood, and the overall running of the business, among others. Retaining the core values and principles that worked in the past, and improving or changing what will help the business grow and adapt in the future, should be the mantra,” she shared.
