Biography

Professor Banerjee is an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the Indian School of Business (ISB).

Her research examines how emotions and psychobiology shape individual and collective behaviour in organizations. Professor Banerjee’s work focuses on helping organizations achieve better outcomes by improving emotion regulation and management of biological fluctuations among members. She is particularly passionate about strengthening social service organizations’ ability to serve their recipients while supporting employee well-being.

She holds a PhD in Organisational Behaviour from the University of Washington, Seattle and Master's degrees from Oxford University and Harvard University. Before pursuing her doctoral studies, Professor Banerjee worked as an international development professional at organizations like the UN and JPAL, impact evaluator and consultant for non-profits and social entrepreneurs, and an emotional intelligence coach for professionals across industries.
