The case has a sharp focus on Ralegaon Siddhi which was a backward village in the arid Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra. Anna Hazare provides transformational leadership and with missionary zeal begins changing the lives of people: through cajoling, persuasion and, at times, coercion.
