About LRC

The School’s LRC is at the heart of the Academic Centre, housed at Bajaj Auto Library at the Hyderabad campus and in the Academic Building (second floor) at Mohali campus. Designed to meet the academic and research needs of the ISB students, it also extends its services to the local community.

A knowledge hub, it provides access to various information resources ranging from the latest management books, textbooks (print plus online) and audio-visual resources. It’s prompt and effective services are in sync with the changing needs of the academic community which is moving towards the electronic resources such as e-books, e-journals and databases.

The Learning Resource Centre is a rich source of content for the academic as well as the professional community. The LRC primarily serves the members of the ISB community. LRC also offers limited services for Alumni thus opening the doors to the wealth of knowledge available here. It provides library services and access to information that support and enhances their research, teaching and learning activities.

It provides library services and access to information that support and enhances their research, teaching, and learning activities.

​​Key Features​

  • Alumni members are free to use LRC facilities whenever they are at Hyderabad/Mohali campus for reference as per the membership guidelines. The alumni members need to carry their Identity cards whenever they visit LRC. 
  • The use of LRC services would be purely for academic and reference purposes only. 
  • The services, under no circumstances, would be used for commercial purpose.
  • Alums would be allowed to borrow up to two books at a time for three weeks.
  • Reference Services.
  • INR 10,000 One-time Refundable Security Deposit.
  • No Annual Membership fee.
  • Total fee INR 10,000.
  • INR 10,000 One-time Refundable Security Deposit.
  • INR 2,500 Annual Membership fee.
  • Total fee INR 12,500 (exclusive of GST applicable on annual fee).

LRC has very well-defined and user-friendly circulation, copyright, resource development, resource sharing policies and guidelines to meet the requirements of the ISB community.

FAQs

LRC is open from 8:00 AM to 2:00 AM and till 4:00 AM during the extended hours.

You may access the LRC site via intranet portal when you are in the campus, and off campus access is facilitated through RemoteXs.

Yes, your spouse and children may access the LRC resources on producing the valid student's ID card.

You may take photocopy of limited pages from a book or an article from journal for your personal reference purpose in accordance with the fair use of copyright policy/IPR laws.

Term books are the required and recommended text books suggested by a faculty for a particular term. The copies of the same will be available at LRC for reference purposes only.
