The Indian School of Business (ISB) today celebrated the achievements of the Class of 2025 from its Advanced Management Programmes (AMPs). A total of 173 students graduated across four specialised programmes: 53 from the Advanced Management Programme for Healthcare (AMPH), 26 from the Advanced Management Programme for Infrastructure (AMPI), 46 from the Advanced Management Programme in Operations and Supply Chain (AMPOS), and 48 from the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy (AMPPP).

ISB’s Advanced Management Programmes deliver world-class education tailored to industry-specific challenges, equipping senior professionals with the insights and capabilities to drive organisational transformation and lead with impact in an increasingly complex global landscape.

Delivering the keynote address, Ms. S. Radha Chauhan, Chairperson, Capacity Building Commission (CBC), Government of India, praised the graduates for their achievements and spoke about their pivotal role in achieving India’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. She highlighted that convocations are not an end but a beginning, where knowledge meets responsibility and ambition meets purpose. Reflecting on the rapid pace of change in management, she shared a personal anecdote about using AI to draft her speech, noting that its output nearly surpassed her own. The experience, she said, was a reminder of both the promise and challenges of emerging technologies.

She urged students to lead with purpose, empathy, and resilience, grounding decisions in nation-building, valuing people and their dignity, and meeting transformation with courage and humility. She added that both the Mission Karmayogi framework and ISB’s educational approach share a focus on lifelong learning and leadership development. She encouraged graduates to measure success not by profits or positions, but by the positive impact they create for citizens and the nation.

Mr. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairman, ISB Mohali Campus Advisory Board and Vice Chairman, Bharti Enterprises, shared insights from his experience as the campus co-founder and a telecommunications industry leader. He expressed both optimism and caution about AI, noting that while new technologies serve humanity’s progress, they pose unique ethical challenges due to their autonomous decision-making. He underscored the moral responsibility of ensuring technology is used ethically and warned against emerging misuse. He outlined three guiding principles, which were transparency, flexibility and adaptability and emphasised the importance of continuous learning, unlearning.

Professor Madan Pillutla, Dean, ISB, congratulated graduates of the four rigorous programs, noting their critical role in shaping India's inclusive and resilient future. He emphasised that, as ISB enters its 25th year, the institution’s founding vision of developing leaders who think globally while acting on local realities is being realised, underscoring his expectations of the graduates.  He offered three key pieces of advice, which were to use privilege for the greater good, make continuous learning a default setting and take bold risks. He reminded graduates that they join over 20,000 ISB alumni, pointing out that the true ISB advantage lies in this powerful community, which will support them in driving meaningful change.

The graduation ceremony also celebrated outstanding academic excellence, with certificates presented to the Scholars of Excellence and students on the Dean’s List. The Teacher of the Year awards for all four Advanced Management Programmes were also announced, honouring the faculty members who made exceptional contributions to the students’ learning journey.

Valedictorians from each programme shared their reflections on their transformative experiences at ISB and their aspirations for the future. The ceremony concluded on a joyous note with the traditional hat toss by the graduating class — a symbolic celebration marking the successful culmination of their inspiring and enriching academic journey at ISB.
