Overview

“Creativity is contagious, pass it on.”   - Albert Einstein

The Arts and Creativity Club (A&C) in ISB aims to be a community that lays the foundation of positivity around campus and paints it colourfully. It strives to integrate the Indian and International Art Industry into ISB through on-campus activities and interactions with established art practitioners. The A&C Club, comprising of students, faculty, spouse and staff members, is an avenue to nurture artistic skills & a gateway to connect with the larger art community.

The vision of the club is to spread the joy of creation, bring artists on the campus together, foster the idea of business in art as well as art in business; thus, creating enriched opportunities and experiences with this unique yet highly potent industry. We as a team, strive to bring the synergy of arts and creativity in all possible spheres of life and make it count through multiple channels.

Karmishtha Krishna studied product design at the Indian School of Design and Innovation (ISDI) and has since worked at the intersection of design, strategy, and human-centered innovation.

She later worked at Ink Caps, collaborating with clients including BMW,JioStar, and Adani Realty on innovation-driven initiatives. Her work has been recognized through the Brand Disruption Award from Economic Times (2025) and the WOW Marketing Awards Asia for the BMW iX1 launch (2025).

She also volunteers as Lead Brand Designer for WHIRA (Women Health in Rheumatology Association), a non-profit focused on patient care and awareness.

As President of the Arts & Creativity Club at ISB, Karmishtha believes creativity is a practice, not a talent- and aims to make it a career tool, a stress buster, and a campus pillar.

Outside of work and academics, Karmishtha enjoys running, board games, and finding quirkiness in the everyday.

Kshama Algure

Kshama Algure

President

Kshama brings together a diverse background in both the professional and creative worlds, a Company Secretary and Risk Management professional, with a lifelong passion for art in its many forms.

Her journey with art began in childhood and has only deepened with time. A Visharad degree in Tabla speaks to her grounding in classical music, while wall murals, sketches, paintings, dance, and cooking reflect the many ways she continues to express herself.
What drives Kshama goes beyond the joy of creating. She believes creativity sharpens thinking, and surfaces perspectives and solutions that logic alone might not arrive at. As president, she hopes to bring that same belief to the club by building a space where creativity is seen not just as expression, but as a genuine way of thinking.
Professionally, Kshama is a qualified Company Secretary with an All India Rank 16 at the Foundation level and an M. Com to her name. She began her career in the BFSI as an Assistant CS and has recently transitioned into Operational Risk Management.
