Overview

Net Impact Club is a group of enthusiasts who aims to inspire students in applying their business skills towards creating a positive social impact. The club has achieved the prestigious Gold Chapter in the last 2 years in a row, which means it is one of the best Net Impact Chapters in the world. The club also takes initiatives to drive social responsibility and sustainability among the students.

Shreya Jain

Shreya Jain

President

Shreya worked in the impact consulting space with Dalberg Global Development Advisors prior to ISB. She has worked with a diverse range of stakeholders in the impact space, including NGOs, philanthropic foundations, and the Government, across sectors such as energy, education, climate change, and rural development. Shreya holds a Bachelor in Management Studies from Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies, University of Delhi. She enjoys traveling and volunteering for various causes in her free time.

Palak Bawa

Vice President

Palak is a CFA Level III candidate and a B. Com graduate from Delhi University. Having worked in the impact space for approximately 6 years now, she has been associated with firms like EY India, Deloitte USI and C-Quest Capital across functions like Government Strategy, Impact Investing and Impact Financing. She has a passion for impact sector and believes that as pioneers of tomorrow, creating awareness, making cautious choices and giving back to the society is our responsibility and duty. She envisions the Net Impact club to be a community that connects socially minded students and facilitate their exploration of the intersection of business and society and not just about NGOs and social service. She is an avid animal lover, a pioneer at taking impactful initiatives and a people’s person who is up to discuss everything impact!

Mehak Bhalla

Mehak Bhalla

President

Mehak is a graduate from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University with ~6 years of experience across the domains of impact consulting and financial data research & management. 

At Sattva Consulting, she worked with 15+ global and domestic NGOs, foundations and social enterprises in thematic areas as education, livelihoods, healthcare and financial inclusion on projects involving GTM, program design and implementation, organization strategy and M&E. At D.E. Shaw, she worked with 500+ global data providers & stock exchanges as the primary relationship holder to manage business ties on firm’s behalf and represent financial needs of equity traders and portfolio managers across New York, London & Asia.

Passionate about strategic problem-solving, Mehak enjoys tackling complex business problems and developing sustainable solutions.

Outside her academic and professional pursuits, you will often find her enjoying a cup of coffee over a crime show or a book. 

Charvi Aggarwal

Charvi Aggarwal

Vice President

Charvi is a graduate from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University with ~5 years of experience across the domains of blended finance, impact consulting and financial research. 

At Dalberg Advisors, she led strategic advisory and program management for a $15M education-focused impact bond, partnering with major stakeholders like the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation. She designed and negotiated interim performance targets, mitigating financial risks, and managed a $10M portfolio for Bridges Fund Management, enhancing the impact of four education-focused non-profits to improve student learning outcomes for over 4M students in government schools, aligning with India's NIPUN Bharat Mission.

At Sattva Consulting, she evaluated social programs and businesses of 15+ global and domestic NGOs, foundations and social enterprises in thematic areas such as education, livelihoods and healthcare to improve their program design program design and implementation. She was part of the financial research team at D.E. Shaw and supported equity traders in US, UK and HongKong primarily on IPOs and supported the venture capital team by working closely with investee start-ups in piloting their products.

Outside her academic and professional pursuits, you will often find her painting or visiting art history museums.
