Photography Club
Overview
Interested in photography or learning the art of capturing emotions and making memories? Join the photography club to be a part of the league. As much as this club is for people who are ardent photography enthusiasts, it is also for people who merely desire to explore the horizons of photography. As we plan to facilitate collective learning sessions, we strive to create vivid frames.
With various photo-walks, field trips, and live workshops we devise to promote creative opportunities, in turn leading to the shared joy of discovering the 'infinite-canvas' that photography truly is!
The club is not just confined to the use of advanced equipment; rather we encourage bringing about the best out of your smartphones and compact cameras. Afterall its about the creative eye-for-detail and not the equipment.
Mission Statement
To “focus” on social interaction and enhance peer learning in photography, build an avenue for de-stressing from the rigor of daily life at the ISB and to capture memories.

Sidharth S
President
Sidharth S is a passionate visual storyteller who sees photography as a way of observing the world with greater intention, finding beauty in ordinary moments, preserving fleeting emotions, and capturing stories that might otherwise go unnoticed. Drawn to street and travel photography, he is especially fascinated by the craft of film photography, shooting on film and developing it himself as an important part of the creative process. For Sidharth, photography is more than creating images; it is a way of cultivating perspective, curiosity, and a deeper connection with the world around him. As President of the Photography Club, he hopes to build a creative community that encourages exploration, experimentation, and meaningful storytelling through the lens.

Shivam Singh
Vice President
Shivam grew up in Jamshedpur and later graduated from IIT (BHU) Varanasi, a city which through its layers and lived-in quality inspired him early to realize that good photography is more than just about using fancy equipment. His working days in Bengaluru made him appreciate nature photography, in particular birds and wildlife photography, which involved a lot of waiting and timing.
For Shivam, owning a camera simply meant framing and appreciating a situation and its context. Being vice president of the Photography Club, he aims to instill the same in his fellow club members. The idea is not to get into technicalities of the craft or be awed by the latest technology and equipment. Instead, he believes that good photography should be democratic and easily accessible even via an ordinary phone camera in our pockets.

Payas Dhingra
President
Payas Dhingra is a Computer Science Engineering graduate from DTU who believes that art should be discussed and lived rather than simply observed. For him, photography is less about taking pictures and more about the conversations, emotions, stories, and human connections that emerge through the process. He believes that the ability to observe deeply, think differently, and connect seemingly unrelated ideas is as valuable in business as it is in artistic expression, helping people become better leaders, entrepreneurs, and decision-makers. He wants this campus to talk more about art and creativity, engage with them more openly, and recognize their role in fostering fresh perspectives.
He is particularly drawn to street, travel, and portrait photography, using the camera as a way to engage with people and their stories. At ISB, he conceptualized and executed the “400+ of Us” project, photographing every PGP student at the same spot on campus to create a flipbook-style video that captured the identity and spirit of the batch.
Previously, he headed the Arts Society at DTU, leading the team to multiple wins across Delhi University and IIT Bombay. Beyond photography, he is also a music enthusiast and plays the ukulele.
