PGP YL seeks talented individuals who are driven to become transformational leaders tomorrow. Ideal candidates demonstrate an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset, early evidence of leadership qualities, and the ability to think laterally—all grounded in a solid academic foundation and a desire to create meaningful impact.
Applications are open for the PGP YL Class of 2028. We operate a staggered admission process with two deadlines for each intake. While competition is the same across all rounds, the earlier you gain admission, the more time you will have to secure financing and arrange related logistics. Applicants in earlier rounds also get preference in the allotment of scholarships. The online application for each round opens approximately two months before the application deadline for that round. The ISB Campus Ambassador Programme invites final-year undergraduate and postgraduate students to champion the PGP YL — a transformative global programme — among their peers.
As an ambassador, you will take the lead in fostering awareness, building connections, and inspiring others to pursue their leadership journey, becoming a catalyst for ambition and excellence within your academic community.
PGP YL is designed for young leaders with 0-24 months of work experience. It offers a unique learning journey that blends global perspectives with local insights, offering a cutting-edge curriculum, access to a world-class faculty, and focus on hands-on leadership training.
No. The PGP YL is a full-time, on-campus, residential programme requiring participants to be present on ISB’s Hyderabad campus for a duration of 20 months.
While the programme is equivalent in content and rigour to an MBA, Indian regulations do not allow independent institutions to grant a master’s degree. You will receive a certificate of completion of the Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders.
PGP YL is a 20-month MBA-equivalent suitable for individuals with 0-24 months of work experience, which means, even fresh graduates with no work experience can apply. On the other hand, the PGP programme is a 12-month MBA-equivalent programme that requires applicants to have at least 2 years of work experience to qualify.
