Max Institute of Healthcare Management (MIHM) at ISB is an interdisciplinary research centre focused on strengthening healthcare delivery through research, education, and outreach.
Job Overview
This role combines project coordination for digital and AI-driven health initiatives with a dedicated government liaison function. The appointee will work closely with state leadership, communicate government priorities to the project team, and support on-ground engagement with government offices to ensure alignment and smooth execution.
Key Responsibilities
Government Engagement:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and state government/s officials.
- Communicate state priorities, requirements, and feedback to the internal team.
- Coordinate visits, meetings, and reviews at government offices.
- Prepare briefing notes, updates, and communication materials for government stakeholders.
Project Coordination and Research Support:
- Manage communication across research partners, implementation teams, and internal ISB units.
- Maintain trackers for deliverables, timelines, and approvals.
- Prepare documentation including minutes, progress reports, and stakeholder updates.
- Support ethics and regulatory submissions (IRB, renewals, reporting).
- Conduct literature reviews and synthesis to support ongoing research.
- Assist with dissemination activities such as presentations, workshops, and stakeholder briefings.
- Support outreach to identify promising AI solutions and use-cases.
Job Specifications
Education:
- Master’s in Public Health, Health Management, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree with substantial relevant experience may be considered.
Skills:
- Strong communication and relationship-management skills, especially with government stakeholders.
- Solid project management and organizational capabilities.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Experience preparing structured documentation and reports.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in health-related project or research coordination.
- Prior experience engaging with government agencies or public institutions.
- Experience coordinating across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with literature reviews and project documentation tools.
