Job Summary
The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of the agriculture-Nutrition Convergence intervention in Harichandanpur. This intervention aims to integrate agricultural production with nutritional delivery in public programs to enhance nutritional outcomes, support local agriculture, and promote economic empowerment. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, managing project activities, and ensuring the alignment of project objectives with ground-level execution.
Job Specifications
Knowledge / Education:
- Master’s degree in Rural Management, Agri Business Management, Nutrition and Public Health, Development Studies, Public Policy, or related fields from an institution of national repute.
Specific Skills:
- Strong project management and coordination skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with local agricultural practices and public nutrition programs.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
Desirable Experience:
- At least 5 year of overall work experience out of which minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience working with government or social impact project implementation.
Preferred selection criteria:
Experience working with government departments and local communities.
Knowledge of the Odia language and local context of Harichandanpur/ Keonjhar
Previous experience in capacity building and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
