ISB ranks #1 in India and #5 in Asia in ‘The Economist: Which MBA? 2022 Full-time MBA Ranking 2022’

[June 22, 2022] The Indian School of Business (ISB) has been ranked #1 in India, #5 in Asia and #75 globally in The Economist: Which MBA? 2022 Full-time MBA Ranking released today.

The ranking has reiterated that ISB is the #1 business school in India and the school has carved a niche of its own in administering the finest and world-class education to its students.

The ranking surveyed alumni from Post Graduate Programme (PGP) class of 2021 and students from the PGP class of 2022.

This is the second time ISB participated in The Economist ranking. 

The Economist: Which MBA? 2022 Full-time MBA Ranking has ranked the programmes on four broad categories: Open new career opportunities, Personal development and educational experience, Salary, and Potential to network, with subsets in each category. 

One of the significant aspects of the ranking is that ISB is ranked #5 globally under “Open new career opportunities” category which includes diversity of recruiters (#29), % of job-seeking graduates with job offer 3 months after graduation (#4), and Alumnus rating of career service (#16).

In addition to this, ISB is ranked:

·       #7 globally in student/alumnus rating of programme content

·       #11 globally in student/alumnus rating of faculty

·       #16 globally in average GMAT score

·       #18 globally in alumnus rating of alumni effectiveness

·       #21 globally in student rating of culture and classmates 

·       #22 globally in diversity of recruiters - breadth

·       #29 globally in diversity of recruiters

·       #29 globally in student/alumnus rating of facilities

Commenting on the rankings, Professor Ramabhadran Thirumalai, Deputy Dean, Mohali Campus and Academic Programmes, said, “ISB continues to be a top-ranked business school in the country. This has been made possible due to the holistic and futuristic approaches adopted by the school. ISB would continue to reinvent itself and offer increased value to its students, who in turn would play a catalytic role in nation-building.”
