AMPPP Faculty

In keeping with ISB’s portfolio model, the faculty for the programme is drawn from a pool of highly accomplished ISB resident faculty, faculty from The Fletcher School and other leading schools, and eminent policymakers and policy practitioners, from the public and the private sector. The faculty is a great mix of academicians and industry experts, which provides the students with a 360 degree understanding of policy making and policy implementation.

Professor Ashwini Chhatre

Executive Director, Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Associate Professor of Public Policy, Chair - Institutional  Review Board

Ashwini Chhatre is an Associate Professor of Public Policy at the ISB.  As the Executive Director of the Bharti Institute, Prof. Chhatre is responsible for identifying research priorities and setting the overall direction of the institute. His research interests broadly centre on the interactions between democratisation, economic development, and environmental governance.

Dr Anjal Prakash is an experienced researcher and academic, currently serving as Associate Professor (Research) and Research Director at the Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Indian School of Business. His work primarily focuses on water and climate change, urban resilience, and gender and social inclusion issues in South Asia.

Dr Aarushi Jain has almost 2 decades of experience as an Administrator, Faculty and Project Head. She is currently working as the Policy Director of Bharti Institute of Public Policy, Indian School of Business. In her current role, she leads the education, research and outreach activities at the Bharti Institute. She is the coordinator of the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy.

Amarjeet Sinha

Member, Public Enterprises Selection Board and Former Advisor to PM

Amarjeet Sinha has recently retired as the Advisor to the Prime Minister, GOI. He has over 30 years of experience in government, largely in the social sector. He has had the unique distinction of having played a major role in designing Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (India’s main programme for universal elementary education) and the National Rural Health Mission. He has also been training Indian Administrative Service Officer Trainees at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie on the social sector over the last one and a half decade.
