Survey of Business Technology Management Capabilities

How does a firm’s ability to manage information technology impact its financial and operating performance? This survey will provide insights on this question through responses from CIOs of leading firms in India, US and Europe. The results of this study will provide CIOs with guidelines to aligning, synchronizing, and even converging technology and business management, thus ensuring better execution, risk control, and profitability. The survey will measure various aspects of firms' digital capabilities, including strategic role and applications of IT in the firm, IT investments, governance structure, operating model, and enterprise architecture.

The output will help firms understand the relationship between digitization and performance and the specific capabilities that drive these performance gains. Firms will also be able to use the data to benchmark themselves against their industry and other peers in terms of IT investments and performance gains from such investments.

We expect responses from senior leadership (CIOs/Head of IT groups) of at least 200 IT-intensive firms across diverse sectors (IT Services, Business Process Management, Hardware, Packaged Software and E-Commerce) and geographies
