Artificial intelligence is moving from promise to practice in healthcare, with real-world deployments increasingly shaping how care is delivered and operations are run. This panel brings together hospital leaders and ecosystem partners to share what’s working, what isn’t, and what they’ve learned along the way. Panellists will unpack the realities of integrating AI into everyday workflows, measuring performance, and building effective partnerships between providers and developers. The discussion will also explore what it takes to move beyond pilots and scale AI sustainably, and why some approaches gain traction while others remain stuck in experimentation.
Panellists:
1. Representative from AIIMS / Tata Memoria
2. Dr Rakesh Kalpala, Director - Center for Obesity and Metabolic Therapy and Center for Artificial Intelligence and Innovation, AIG Hospitals
3. Nakul Jain, CEO, Wadhwani AI Global
4. Nimmy Dominic, Director – Health Systems Innovation, Qure.ai

Out-of-hospital care is rapidly emerging as one of healthcare’s fastest growing segments.Driven by demographic shifts, rising costs, and changing patient expectations, home-based, transitional, and post hospital recovery models are reshaping how care is delivered. This panel will explore the evolution of these care models, the role of technology and service providers in enabling out of hospital care, and the emerging opportunities in financing that will determine how this market scales in the coming years.
Panellists:
1. Rajit Mehta, CEO, Antara Senior Care
2. Vivek Srivastava, Founder & CEO, HCAH India

Digital infrastructure shapes how healthcare organisations scale, integrate, and operate as cohesive systems. This discussion focuses on hospitals and clinics, examining how clinical, operational, and administrative systems are being digitised and aligned across facilities. The conversation will treat digitalisation as an organisational and operational journey, looking at the strategic intent behind these investments, differences across settings, and the trade-offs leaders face along the way. Panelists will also explore how digital foundations enable coordination across networks, support multi-site care delivery, and determine whether healthcare systems function as integrated enterprises rather than collections of standalone facilities.
Panellists:
1. Shuchin Bajaj, Founder Director, Ujala Cygnus Hospitals
2. Jayashree Kanter, Co-Founder, Enzia Ventures
3. Arvind Sivaramakrishnan, CTO, Asia Healthcare Holdings
4. Dr Manish Matto, Executive Director & CEO, HealthCare Global Enterprises (HCG)

Investment platforms and mergers and acquisitions activity in the healthcare sector Private equity–backed buy-and-build platforms are reshaping Indian healthcare, transforming hospitals and diagnostics from standalone facilities into integrated healthcare service providers. Investors now pursue scale and capability-building by acquiring an anchor institution and expanding through targeted add-on acquisitions, as seen in Advent’s CARE Hospitals, TPG’s Manipal Hospitals, and Warburg Pincus’s Metropolis. These platforms promise operational synergy, clinical standardization, and broader patient access, while also raising important questions about integration, governance, and the future structure of India’s healthcare ecosystem. This panel explores the strategic and societal implications of such transformational business models in healthcare.
Panellists:
1. Varun Khanna, Group Managing Director, QCIL
2. Dr Ilan, CEO, Chennai Region, Apollo Hospitals
3. Mahadevan Narayanamoni, Senior Advisor, TPG Growth
4. Alka Goel, Founder, Alkemi Growth Capital
