About the Workshop
- This will explore the evolving landscape of India’s defense and aerospace capabilities, with a focus on flagship programs such as the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile (a joint initiative by DRDO and NPOM) and the HAL Tejas light combat aircraft.
- The session will spotlight the contributions of leading organizations driving indigenous innovation, including Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), L&T Defence, Bharat Forge, Unistring Technologies, Zen Technologies, and Skyroot Aerospace.
- With a strong emphasis on self-reliance (Atmanirbhar Bharat) and strategic autonomy, the workshop will also examine India’s potential to emerge as a global hub for Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) services in aerospace and defence.
