ISB hosts panel discussion on the occasion of National Youth Day

On the occasion of National Youth Day, External Relations at ISB, in partnership with Yi Chandigarh Chapter, hosted an engaging panel discussion exploring the vital role of youth in shaping Viksit Bharat@2047.

The panelists included Chandrajyoti Singh, IAS, SDM Mohali, Government of Punjab; Karan Kaila, Director, Kaila Engineering and ISB PGPMFAB Class of 2016; Navkiran, Lady Cadet, Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute; Dr Deepika Saluja, Co-founder and Chair, Women in Global Health, India; and Arvind Sehdev, Chair, Young Indians Chandigarh Chapter.

Discussions centered around exploring methods for youth engagement in active citizenship, social responsibility, and community development. The panelists also highlighted leveraging the use of technology to bridge digital divides, empower youth, and drive inclusive development.

As India aspires to be a developed nation by 2047, the role of the nation's youth, which is the world’s largest youth population, becomes paramount in shaping this vision. Viksit Bharat@2047 aims for comprehensive development spanning economic growth, social progress, environmental sustainability, and good governance.
