Carbon emissions audit

Indian School of Business (ISB) has engaged Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to carry out a carbon emissions footprint study for its Hyderabad and Mohali campuses. The first such external carbon emissions audit was run for the academic year 2021-2022. The Greenhouse gas (GHG) emission study was conducted in line with the ‘GHG Protocol’ developed jointly by the World Resources Institute (WRI) and the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). This audit includes Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions.

ISB is committed towards creating a sustainable future for all its stakeholders by establishing a comprehensive action plan with clear goals and priorities for green initiatives in its courses and the functioning of its campuses. It also encourages students and staff to continue planning, creating, and acting on sustainability opportunities through initiatives and actions inside and outside the classrooms to tackle sustainability challenges on our campuses.
