One day, I saw a post on a professional portal and I thought, ‘Why not?’. After few days of calls, emails and discussions, I joined the Centre for Executive Education at Indian School of Business. It was a big deal as I had always aspired to be a part of this premier institute.  Through the last few months, I got the opportunity to learn from intellectuals from various walks of life and work with the best in the business. The culture at ISB is collaborative, open & the colleagues are encouraging. This helped me to put forth my ideas that not only helped improve my business deliverables but also got me to dabble in cross functional activities, projects and events at the school level. Looking forward to invest in making myself a better ME and hoping to return the favours.

I’m truly proud and grateful to be a part of the ISB family for the last 15 months. What makes ISB special are the people – the faculty, staff, students, and the larger community – that always work together to uphold the pedigree that the school stands for. And of course, the stunning campus, which has a soul and energy of its own, rejuvenates me every morning as I walk into work. ISB is always buzzing with activity; there’s never a dull moment. Easily one of my favorite places to work thus far!

 I joined ISB because of the impactful nature of our work. ISB gives me the opportunity to expand my learning and be a part of students’ transformation, which is highly rewarding. ISB has an incredibly supportive environment. Not only does ISB gives me the professional opportunities I was looking for, but also it is also a place where I can have a happy personal life. My biggest piece of advice for anyone considering ISB as a workplace is just be yourself throughout the recruiting process. ISB’s most valuable asset is its people, therefore, it’s important to be honest, humble and genuine.

I will always have a very special connection with ISB as I had joined this renowned institution on my birthday. I am experiencing exactly what I had expected from ISB in terms of learning, a friendly environment and the freedom to explore things. It’s been 10 months now in ISB and I have enjoyed every single day working here. It’s because of the warmth and support that I have got from my colleagues in all the departments and especially the support staff. Hope to have a long-term relationship with ISB.

ISB has strong core values based on integrity and has created the work culture and environment that enables me to practice these values in my daily work, this aspect has given me tremendous job satisfaction and has boosted my morale. Here the emphasis is on teamwork while still encouraging individual achievement and creativity. The work environment and culture evoke a strong sense of community throughout the entire organization and not just a part of small team. My superiors offer frequent constructive feedback creating an atmosphere for open communication which has helped me to excel in the performance of any task my job performance. Another aspect which has brought me satisfaction is the ease of access to the resources needed to complete my tasks and the opportunity to educational resources to develop my skills that make me more valuable to the organization.
