Owain Roberts

Head of Climate Change Policy, British High Commission, New Delhi

Owain leads the climate policy work of the UK Government in India which involves liaising with relevant UK and Indian Government departments on national and international climate policy, such as UNFCCC, G20 and G7 negotiations. He provides strategic oversight to UK the climate technical assistance programmes operating in India. Prior to joining the Foreign Commonwealth & Development Office, Owain has worked in multiple government departments, including Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs working on the Convention on Biological Diversity negotiations.
