3rd Education Training Workshop

The Bharti Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) conducted a five-day workshop on ‘Leadership and Motivation’ between February 10th and February 15th, 2020 for directly recruited principals through Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSE), from Government Senior Secondary Schools from all over Punjab. The training was a unique initiative in the state targeted at principals who are at the beginning of their careers. The workshop forms part of an overarching project titled ‘Improving Quality of Education in Punjab’, that BIPP is undertaking with the Department of Education, Government of Punjab. The project is aimed at studying the policy, institutional and capacity building reforms needed to improve educational outcomes along with optimizing education sector inputs in the state. The goal of the workshop is to build capacities in government senior secondary schools in the state and provide the newly recruited principals much needed impetus and exposure through trainings at the Indian School of Business, Mohali Campus.
