The use of performance measurement enables public organizations to provide services with improved efficiency, as well as increasing transparency and accountability toward citizen stakeholders. Much of the emphasis has focused on developing appropriate performance measures, with less emphasis on implementing performance measures in public and nonprofit organizations. Because the stakes are so high, and the potential return so great, implementation issues need to be considered from the start of the performance measurement process.
This webinar will discuss the critical success factors for implementing performance measurement initiatives at various levels of government, along with the following key takeaways:
Significance of leadership for performance measurement
Basic dos and don'ts of trying to become data-driven and implement performance management
Elements of evaluation methodology that are critical for success of any such effort
This will be an enlightening discussion on an important subject area. We hope you join us for this hour-long webinar. Review more information on the ASPA website and register today!
