Retired as the MD of L&T IDPL 

Mr. K Venkatesh, retired as the MD of L&T IDPL ( L&T Infrastructure Development Projects Ltd ), the infrastructure investment subsidiary of L&T ( 2001-2018 ), where he was responsible for, Bidding, Developing, Executing, Commissioning , Operating, and Maintaining a Portfolio of Assets amounting to US$ 8.5 billion. These Assets included 22 Roads, 2 Greenfield Ports, Hyderabad Metro ( 72 km ),  an Airport, one Transmission Line, one Water Supply, and 20 in Real Estate. Before 2001, Mr. Venkatesh worked with Tata Steel, ABB, GE Plastics, and Mphasis ( a listed Software entity in India ) handling various functions such as Corporate Finance and Accounts, Project Finance, MIS, Direct and Indirect Taxation,Mergers and Acquisitions. He has also handled multiple diverse responsibilities heading HR, Legal & Secretarial departments.
