SRITNE conducted the Workshop on Digital Transformation on October 11-12, 2019, at ISB. The workshop this year brought out best practices, thought leadership and policy directions around four themes: AI & the future of Work, Products and Services, Designing a Digital Blueprint for the Industrial Economy, Regulating the Gig Economy and Leveraging Start-up Ecosystems to Beat the Competency Trap.
SRITNE conducted the Workshop on Digital Transformation on October 12, 2018, at ISB. The purpose is to bring together an interdisciplinary leader from industry, government and academia to push our understanding of the future of technology services, including, not limited to technology-enabled service innovations, newer forms of organisation of service delivery, and human capital management.
Increasing number of digital and disruptive business models serve as a good backdrop to discuss a novel theme for this year's workshop, “Digital Transformations for Business and Society". The focus areas were: Digital India - Challenges, Impact and Opportunities, Innovation & Entrepreneurship in India, Breakthrough Business Models & Industry Disruptions Automation & Incentives for Human Capital Development in Technology Services
The Government of India’s mandate to develop 100 Smart Cities, promote the Start-Up ecosystem and Digitally empower its citizens; serves as a good backdrop to discuss a novel theme for this year's workshop, “Technology Enabled Societal Transformation”. Themes were: IT Enabled Societal Transformation, IoT, Big Data and Service Automation, Technology and Entrepreneurship, FinTech: Innovation in Financial Services
The objective of this workshop was to explore various business models for Internet of Things(IoT), their features, applicability to different IoT usecases, and any challenges in implementation. By the end of the workshop, participants were expected to acquire working knowledge of different business models for IoT and some insights into selecting the right model(s) for a particular usecase.
The workshop, hosted by the Srini Raju Centre for Information Technology and the Networked Economy (SRITNE) was held on October 31 - November 1, 2015 at the Indian School of Business (ISB). It included keynote presentations by industry and academic leaders, round table discussions on key issues in technology services delivery, and featured academic presentations. The theme for this year’s workshop is “Smart Cities”.
The two day workshop on service science, organised by the Srini Raju Center for IT & the Networked Economy (SRITNE), Indian School of Business explored the above themes of service innovation, governance and human capital that leverage emerging technological and business trends. The workshop hosted leading academicians from around the world conducting cutting edge research in service science, faculty members, graduate students from ISB and affiliate universities, and researchers from Industry.
A one day unconference at ISB, Hyderabad Campu for people who are working with data from many different sectors to come together and share their projects and ideas. This event addressed how to make data open so that it’s potential to create more accountability and transparency to improve policies and implementation of projects across industry, citizen sector organisations, and governance.
The Diversity & Inclusion in Tech Summit brought together an interdisciplinary group of leaders from industry, government and academia to discuss and promote diversity and inclusion of women in the technology sector and organization. and was held on 6th March, 2020 at the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad. Participants got an opportunity to network with some of the dynamic women in tech and be a part of an engaging discussion on encouraging diversity and embracing the culture of inclusion of women in technology organizations. The summit comprised of keynote presentations and panel discussions on key issues around the focused topics identified for the summit.
