An interactive session on “Living a Boardroom Battle” with Professor Nirmalya Kumar, Professor of Marketing, Lee Kong Chian School of Business, Singapore Management University and Distinguished Fellow at INSEAD Emerging Markets Institute was organized by the Thomas Schmidheiny Centre for Family Enterprise. The session focused on the complexity of Business Groups, the role of independent Directors, governance at the group level, interests of minority shareholders and family versus non-family successors.
