The first residency of Cohort 2022-23 of Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy was organised from 8th August to 18th August 2022 at ISB Mohali Campus. The Hon’ble Governor of Haryana, Shri Bandaru Dattatreya, addressed the cohort and formally inaugurated the programme.

The second residency of Cohort 2022-23 of the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy was organised from 4-13 November 2022 at ISB Hyderabad Campus.
Seven courses were covered during the Term.
Ms Manjari Jaruhar, the first woman IPS officer of Bihar, and author of Madam Sir, during the fireside chat on 6 November 2022, talked about her life and career. The conversation emphasized the gender construct of a woman police officer. The speaker highlighted that despite being in the police force, she kept her femininity intact during her career, and in fact, she considered it as her strength. Prof. Anjal Prakash moderated the session.
Students of AMPPP visited the T-Hub on 11 November 2022. It is an innovation intermediary and business incubator based in Hyderabad, which aims to boost the start-up ecosystem. A brief presentation reflected upon the T-Hub’s genesis, nature, framework, and functioning. T-Hub has housed about 2000 start-ups till date, linking and bringing investors, corporates, academia, mentors, innovation partners, and trade consulates together. In addition to T-Hub, the students were introduced to other components of the Telangana Innovation Network, such as T-Works, WE Hub, Innovation Cell, etc. The presentation was followed by a tour of the premises, which houses state-of-the-art facilities.
The third residency of the AMPPP Batch 7 (Co’23) was held at the Mohali Campus of the Indian Business School, from March 24-March 4, 2023.

A policy walk was conducted for the current cohort (Co’ 23) of the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy from 4th to 6th April, in New Delhi. The participants of the cohort visited the corridors of power including the Parliament, North and South Block, and interacted with the senior functionaries of the government to get a firsthand experience in governance and understanding the nitty gritty of policymaking.
Many alumni of previous batches of AMPPP also interacted with the current cohort along with the members of the Advisory Council, Bharti Institute of Public Policy, during a gala dinner organised on the first day of the policy walk.

The fourth residency of the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy (AMPPP) for the cohort of 2023, Batch 7, was held on May 5th-14th at the Mohali campus of the Indian School of Business.

The Capstone poster presentations, one of the most exciting activities of the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy (AMPPP), was held during the last leg of the residency. The 2022-23 cohort showcased their Capstone topics as research posters. A three-member jury consisting of Professor O P Agarwal, Professor A K Shiva Kumar, Indian School of Business and D N V Kumara Guru, Senior Director, External Relations, Indian School of Business presided over the session which was moderated by Professor Anjal Prakash. Students made presentations to all panel members on topics within the scope of policymaking such as climate regulation & decarbonisation Acts, taxation system in India, analysis of current legislations and way forward, to name a few.
A graduation ceremony of the 7th Batch of the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy (AMPPP) was held at the Indian School of Business, Mohali campus on 7th April. A total of 38 students were awarded certificates of completion along with the students of PGP, MFAB and AMPH.
The graduation ceremony commenced with a formal procession led by the Chief Guest Rukmini Banerji, CEO, Pratham Education Foundation. Rakesh Bharti Mittal, Chairman, Mohali Campus Advisory Board and Vice Chairman, Bharti Enterprises; Prof. Madan Pillutla, Dean; Prof. Ramabhadran Thirumalai, Deputy Dean; and Prof. Ashwini Chhatre and other senior faculty members of the Indian School of Business also participated in the procession.
On the eve of the graduation ceremony, a faculty interaction session was also held, wherein graduating cohort participants attended one last session with the resident AMPPP faculty.
