International Exchange Programme
International Exchange
ISB's exchange programmes prepare students to become tomorrow's global leaders through immersive cross-cultural experiences. The comprehensive exchange network connects students with 50+ prestigious partner institutions worldwide, fostering international perspectives essential for success in an interconnected business landscape.
Built Around Diversity
Students develop global leadership capabilities by stepping beyond familiar environments to explore diverse cultures and international business strategies, building the cross-cultural competencies that distinguish exceptional leaders.
Outbound Exchange
The outbound programme enables students to study at premier business schools globally, expanding their professional networks, enhancing cultural intelligence, and cultivating the global mindset necessary for international career advancement.
Students are encouraged to define their goals, location choices, programme duration, fees, curriculum, and career support to choose an exchange programme.
We assist in researching course types, financial aid support, the cost of living, housing options and commute convenience.
For more information, contact the ASA - Student Affairs Department or explore our 'Exchange Network' section.
The eligibility criteria for an exchange programme are simple.
- You must be free of any honour code violations
- Have a CGPA above 2.5
- Ensure no “F” on your transcript (both academic and attendance sections)
The selection procedure for our Outbound Exchange Programme uses a bidding system. A student can bid for a maximum of three exchange programmes, and selection is based primarily on the bidding.
If you opt for our Outbound Exchange Programme, there are no additional tuition fees. However, the student must cover all the living and travel expenses (around ₹5 lakh).
Depending on the country you choose for the exchange, you will need a valid visa. The application process typically takes 1-2 months. Thus, we recommend that students apply beforehand for a hassle-free experience.
Inbound Exchange
International students enrich ISB's learning environment while completing terms at the Hyderabad and Mohali campuses. This cultural immersion provides them with transformative experiences and exposure to India's dynamic business ecosystem.
Our Hyderabad and Mohali campuses offer top-notch residential facilities for both PGP and international students. Students can enjoy fully air-conditioned and furnished apartments with an active LAN and internet connection, cable connection and data ports. We recommend that our Inbound Exchange Programme students apply for on-campus residency.
Students have access to recreational facilities, dining, and laundry assistance at the campus residence to ensure maximum learning without hassle. For those who are unable to secure on-campus housing, our office is committed to helping students find suitable accommodation near our campuses.
Our ISB campuses are designed to sustain the natural environment while incorporating state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure. In addition, our Learning Resource Centre within our academic centre offers additional facilities and a library to enhance your learning experience.
Students are expected to bring their laptops to complete course assignments and research. Our on-campus housing costs approximately ₹36,125 (plus 18% tax) per term for a shared room and ₹64,500 (plus 18% tax) per term for a studio.
Vegetarian and non-vegetarian dining options range from ₹120 to ₹200. We also offer free shuttles for an easy commute.
