Sayesha is a Chartered Accountant with over 3 years of experience in M&A advisory and due-diligence across industries. Her tryst with deal advisory began at the age of 19, with KPMG, where she spent ~5 years (incl. 3 years’ CA articleship) advising clients on transaction structures & cost optimisation and implementing mergers/spin-offs, in addition to undertaking due-diligences. Her list of marquee deals includes Essar Oil’s acquisition by Rosneft for ~$13Bn. Sayesha went on to becoming the Founding Member of Transaction Square where she facilitated capital-raising for start-ups and advised PE funds/ strategic investors on inbound & outbound transaction structuring for deals upto $600Mn. She is an ardent sports lover and a fitness enthusiast.
Adarsh has over 2 years of experience in Investment Banking doing M&A and Private Equity fund-raise with Avendus Capital. He has closed over $0.5bn deals in the infrastructure and real assets vertical. Before that, he worked on wealth management arm of Avendus for around 2 years to advise High Net Worth Individuals to invest across debt and equity asset classes. He is an engineer from IIT Bombay, 2015 batch by educational qualification and loves to play cricket and table tennis in his free time

He has been exposed to diverse areas that include litigation, M&A structuring, due diligence, corporate laws and tax regulations, Industrial policies of various states in India, while also having real time experience of taking business decisions independently in his role as a project manager. Some of his marquee assignments include Vendor due diligence for HUL’s acquisition of Horlicks from GSK for $3.3bn, Industrial policy analysis for availing incentives on investment of $2bn by Kia Motors in Andhra Pradesh. Rummana holds 5 years of experience, working both in the private sector and Government sector. Prior to joining ISB, she worked in the Income Tax Department, Ministry of Finance, primarily handling analysis of taxation laws, spanning assessments of tax liability of different business organizations and individuals and ensuring compliance of taxpayers. An engineer by education, she has also gained insights into how finance and tax reform policies are formulated by the Government and their implementation at the grassroots level. Before that, she worked in Tata Consultancy Services, handling client requirements in the domain of product design and lifecycle management.
