Ishwarya Lakshmi

President

Ishwarya is a Chartered Accountant (All India Ranker) and holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce. She has over 4 years of experience in credit rating and valuing companies for mergers and acquisitions, primarily in the automobile, hospitality, manufacturing, FMCG and IT/ITes sectors. 

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ishwarya is passionate about gender diversity, LGBTQ rights, and eradicating caste and religious discrimination, and is always up for a conversation about politics. On a personal note, she enjoys music, movies and memes, and is an avid swimmer and singer. 

At the Women in Business club, she hopes to collaborate with fellow women to inspire each other into becoming confident, skilled, and transformative leaders, and develop the gumption to walk into and own hitherto patriarchal spaces. She hopes to gather the allyship and support of the cohort to work towards an equal future where all voices are valued, and all opportunities are accessible.

Divya Chikati

Vice President

Divya is a chemical engineer grad from NIT Calicut, she began her career at ExxonMobil as process safety risk engineer and eventually became the team lead and led 15 members diverse team. She has driven initiatives around automation/digitalization, and won multiple company awards along the way.

Apart from the professional endeavors, Divya is passionate about women empowerment and actively participates in various women interest network clubs and loves to try new things. You will find Divya either in the gym hitting weights or cooking simple meals or with a coffee and a book!

Divya always tries to empowering others and encourages herself and those around her to make a positive difference, always striving to create a supportive and inclusive environment.
