Tejashri is a chemical engineering graduate from NIT Trichy, and has had 2.5 years of professional experience in the oil & gas industry. For as long as she can remember, Tejashri has been passionate about confronting and correcting gender biases. During her time at the Women In Business Club at ISB Mohali, she hopes to ignite the spark of gender-positive transformational leadership in each member of the cohort, regardless of their gender identity. Her aim is to create a safe, non-judgemental space for all cohort members where they can unlearn, learn and understand the nuances of gender inside and outside the workplace.
Anjana Raghavendra Kadni
Anjana has 4.5 years of experience in the transport infrastructure space as an engineering consultant. She completed her Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from PSG Coimbatore in 2015 and her Master’s in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras in 2017. She has worked on many metro-rail and high-speed rail projects in India, Singapore, UK, Vietnam, and Saudi Arabia. She is passionate about women representation in businesses and has worked towards improving gender parity in the companies she worked for. Through WIB, she intends to sensitise the business leaders of tomorrow and wishes to set up a scholarship for women at ISB. She loves to sing, learn new languages, and dance her heart out.
Spandana graduated from BITS Pilani with a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, post which she worked in Micron Technologies as a firmware engineer. At Micron, she worked on developing hardware security modules by collaborating with multiple geographies and leading several subject matter experts in the field. Though she comes from a male-dominated industry, she realized that with good support and mentorship, women can achieve excellence. At WIB, she strives to bring in that support system and rise with everyone. She has a keen eye for detail and looks at things from a creative angle. Outside work, you can find her illustrating her comic character, photographing the little things in life, designing, and traveling.
Priyal graduated from NIT-Bhopal with B.Tech. in electronics & communication engineer and has five years of experience in Telecom R&D Industry as Research Engineer at C-DOT, Govt. of India. She has worked on building end-to-end low-cost telecom products for digital transformation initiatives like Digital India and for strategic sectors, impacting 2.5 lakhs rural villages.
Being the first woman engineer in the family, only woman on the office team and in Phoenix Toastmasters club, she understands the challenges woman face in their educational and professional life. She has mentored 20+ girl underprivileged girl students as a student mentor at Team Everest NGO and worked on increasing female membership in Toastmasters club as a VP-membership. She hopes to continue empowering women by sensitizing the cohort on gender-biases as MCC at WIB, ISB. In her free time, you will find her singing, doodling or cooking.
Debasmita Roy Chowdhury
Debasmita is a 2018 civil engineering graduate from Jadavpur University. Prior to ISB, she has worked as a structural design consultant for major mining and chemical projects around the world, particularly in Australia. Coming from a male-dominated career, she is passionate about gender issues, particularly at the workplace. Apart from work, she takes a keen interest in photography, writing and history. She is also an ardent foodie, prone to binge-eating streaks.
With over 3 years of work experience, Sarthak has built 2 startups from scratch and has led them to success with his hardwork, creativity & zest for life. In his free time, Sarthak likes to read business books, discovering new technologies and is passionate about playing cricket.
Hrithik comes with three years of investment banking experience at JP Morgan. Aligned to Fintech sector, he was a part of the firm’s pilot crypto team. Working across an array of deals, he was also a core member of the automation practices team.
Hailing from Makum (a small town) in Assam, Hrithik completed his graduation from St. Xavier’s College. He is passionate about paragliding and enjoys playing badminton.
Shreejita has about five years of experience in the semiconductor industry. During this stint, she worked with Texas Instruments as the Digital Design lead engineer. She has worked across the product development lifecycle of 60+ hardware chips in 4 different functions, building hardware and software solutions for Fortune 500 clients including Apple, FORD, Oppo while collaborating with global cross-functional teams. Shreejita holds an Electronics and Communications degree from NSIT, batch of 2017. She is passionate about acrylic painting, traveling, and baking.
Anjali has almost 3 years of experience in government, public and development sector consulting, where she had the opportunity to work in projects pertaining to Water & Sanitation, Covid Management and International Healthcare. She has worked in impact evaluation of identified national level schemes and assisted in the conceptualization of draft strategies & data analytics in the field of emergency health management, all in line with supporting key stakeholders in certain nodal Ministries.
