Biography

Ajay Kiran Varma pursued master’s in computer science engineering from BITS Pilani and has over 8 years of experience in RPA and IT for banking industry. In his current job with Wells Fargo, he is responsible in analysing, understanding and documenting the business processes in detail and identify right candidature and the scope for RPA automation. He is part of Intelligent Automations where he provided solutions for multiple process automations using RPA and Al/ML resulted in savings worth USD 30 million till date. He is responsible for strategy and roadmap to enable business process automations. Ajay is passionate about film making and cinematography, co-founder for Pondfreaks and Movies n Life. His team won national award for their short film.

Why did you choose PGPpro programme?

At this juncture of my career, as I look forward to assuming senior management roles at Wells Fargo, I realize that my current knowledge falls short of a thorough understanding of Wells Fargo's key areas of business interests: Loan Origination and Servicing. Further, as I assume senior management role in the near future and my role increasingly evolves from operational to strategic, I need to be equipped with formal strategic frameworks and objective decision-making tools. As I grow further, a holistic understanding of fundamental business disciplines such as operations, marketing, and finance will also be a prerequisite. A formal curriculum of b-school, knowledgeable faculty, and diverse student-body will comprise an ideal setting for my learning. ISB scores high on all these fronts.
